Not what I expected.

I'm going to listen to every book that he reads. *melt* They both did a great job.

The book itself made me laugh, scream, clench, and scream. I didn't see it going the way it went and I loved it. It was everything you expect from the outlandish millionaire marriage of convenience trope. I definitely count this entire trope as a guilty pleasure read for me.

Trigger warning for the miscarriage. That was heart wrenching. I do wish I had been more prepared for that.

Fantastic book, by an incredible writer.

Great addition to the series.

The performances were incredible. No spoilers, but I barely made it through the b&e scene.

Listen clearly to the trigger warnings. I don't think I will crave pizza or smoothies for a while.

The story took me a minute to get into because the motives were a little merky for me. However, I got there eventually when I rationalized that crazy people be crazy.


Ms. Weaver gave us yet another incredible book, and I have already pre-ordered number three. Can't wait to see where this goes.

Solid 4⭐ read.

The performance was great. The writing was solid. The story was good and had me questioning things. Had the urge to read ahead.

Finished in one day. Bought The Kindle copy for when I couldn't listen to the audiobook, and at the end I bought the physical copy for my bookshelf.

I highly recommend this to all my friends and I've read it twice now. The spice is 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5

I knew next to nothing about the series when I picked up this book. Other than it was popular and it had something to do with fairy tale retellings.

It was my first dark romance. I was unprepared for the level of violence in this book. I was also unprepared for how much I enjoyed it. it opened the door to other dark romances and for that I will forever love it.

The Mmc is a psychopath. He does all the things you're not supposed to love, but somehow when reading I find it endearing. This book was delicious 🤤

Dark and Funny. The Banter!!!!

Honestly I avoided reading this, I wasn't sure I wanted to read about serial killers. However, I am kicking myself for waiting.

The story was good, well written, and the banter between the main characters is fire. The spice is good 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5 and I am in love. I saw the twist coming, but still enjoyed it.

The whole thing was a joy to listen to. I can't recommend the audio book enough. I have already pre-ordered Leather and Lace.

The performers are in the same room while they're reading this and it is everything. It gives this book life.

I almost DNFed this so any times.

I was looking forward to this book. Saw several reviews, listened to the sample, read the back. And the actual writing is fine, not my style, but fine. The story is okay, I never really got into it if I'm being honest.

The spice was consistent. I would say it was 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5

This book seemed to consider trauma a kink. Everyone had something they were dealing with deeply. Every character was deeply wounded.

I am not sure that the four of them need to be a couple, as much as they all need therapy. I spent the last two days dredging through their trauma dumping on each other. I wasn't expecting that. It's not like they don't have legitimate reasons to have trauma, but the way they deal with it is not healthy and the way they use it constantly to justify everything in their life. It's exhausting.

Fmc. Layla. In her mind it is always Halloween, and her costume is of a woman that is strong, independent, and does not let her past define her. Sadly the truth is the opposite. She could be strong, but she lets every moment of her life be defined by her past, and ends up more often than not crying in a puddle on the floor.

The truth is maybe this book just isn't for me, the actual writing is nice. I can tell that the author worked hard on it. I'm sure there are people out there that will love this book. I read this via audiobook and the voice actors are incredibly meltworthy. Got to love an accent.

Beautiful and Romantic

This was a touching story that had me in tears a few times. I enjoyed it especially after having been into dark romances for a while. This was like a refreshing pallet cleanser.

I will definitely be looking into more books by this author.

the story pulled me in! With each new book I though "na, I'm not interested in these two characters..." until I was.

She did a great job writing and I already ordered the next series.

He had a few hick ups, but ultimately his voice and a Titan man's words could make me forget any mistakes.
