This book is an anthology written by a diverse group of 40 individuals from around the world. They come from all walks of life, yet they are all united by the choices they have made. Confessions of a Caffeine Addict covers all major products including coffee, tea, yerba mate, energy and sport drinks, soda, caffeine pills, diuretics, medicine, chocolate, and other foods containing the drug. All have written from their hearts, telling the stories of what brought them along to their own conclusions about their use of caffeine.

narrator is amazing!
Revisado: 12-14-19
I'm interested in anti-caffeine stories as I'm trying to keep to a bedtime and make sleep a priority in my life. The narrator really makes this an amazing experience! She puts her heart into every single story and gives each story its own flair. You can feel the misery that each person had with their own caffeine battles. I can only listen to a few stories at a time because it gets depressing, but each story is very moving.

Historia
I have compiled these stories to not only help people with gaming addictions, but also to bring an understanding to family members and friends of gamers. There are so many aspects of gaming addiction, and these stories encompass various people's walks with playing excessive amounts of addicting games. This book is not a traditional book. You may want to jump around to different chapters in any order to find what stories most relate to you.

I have to say, this is the best narration I've ever heard. You can really hear the pain and desperation in every word. Being narrated by the author himself, he hasn't made the narration 'acceptable' by professional standards, so it feels more real and sincere. The story itself was very relatable - I've struggled with book and internet addiction, and the way it makes everything else seem worthless, and takes over your life... it's good to know that this is a normal part of the struggle, and that other things can be enjoyable again.
