A must read — Thank you, Graham Hancock!

I am a mother, wife, educator & lifelong learner. Graham Hancocks work is the most fascinating historical/archeological material I have ever encountered. I have every one of Graham Hancocks books that are available on Audible. I have listened to each of them at least once. I have listened to Fingerprints of the Gods & others, such as America Before, several times. The content never gets old. I’ve listened his his long form interviews on the Joe Rogan Experience & on Russell Brands podcast. I’ve watched his Netflix series, Ancient Apocalypse. It has always seemed as if a big chunk of history is missing from the human psyche. It seems nonsensical for the earth to have existed for billions of years & for us to have been around for such a relatively short period of time. I suspected as a young adult that perhaps intelligent life inhabited the earth several times, for which the evidence has since decayed, etc. It’s disturbing as to how academia refuses to include evidence of past civilizations into the history books. How can we grow & work to prevent future cataclysms if we do not learn from our past? Everyone must listen to Graham Hancock. He is NOT a conspiracy theorist. He is a true student of life, who has courageously & tirelessly worked to discover ancient mysteries that we all must know to lead our best lives & to prepare for the future, for the well-being of ourselves & our children & anyone who may inhabit this beautiful world. Don’t be an ignorant fool. Learn to: think critically; be open to new ideas/evidence; ask the necessary questions; humbly admit what you do not know; and identify reliable resources; such that you & the humankind may GROW & prosper. The entire Little House series on Audible is wonderful! I own all of them & have listened to each book several times, alone and/or with my children. Highly recommend it to teachers, parents, homesteaders, and/or anyone who wants to be pleasently immersed in beautifully descriptive stories that share what life was like for countless generations before ours! I could write pages defining why each of these books has come to be a good friend, but it'd likely be best for you to experience for yourself. Enjoy!

Wonderfully engaging, educational resource...

My family LOVES the Little House book series read by Cherry Jones on Audible! We've listened to them several times. They're wonderful for people of all ages! They've helped my children understand how people lived prior to a few generations ago & have encouraged me to work towards helping my family to be more self-sustainable. These books align with the Massachusetts English Language Arts & Literature standards & are a treasure to behold. Enjoy!

Beautiful story & so wonderfully well read!

I've listened to it 3 times already -- both with and without my children. It feels like a loved one telling me a story -- like how it might feel if my father in law were still alive, telling a story of his childhood to my children. It's tragic at times but true to life & a beautiful story. I'm thankful to have purchased it. I've known & loved many books throughout the years, but this will now & always be one of my favorites -- perhaps because my brother's a hunter, perhaps because I'm a mother of sons, perhaps because there's something abt it that speaks to the heart of all of us. Thank you, Audible, Author & Narrator for this beautiful book. Bravo!

Beautiful Story

I fell in love with this book when I first read it years ago. I can still remember the feel of it in my hands. I was happy to have found it on Audible. Although now that I've been married for 15 years with children, it brings forth a different feeling than it did years ago. As a young woman, I found it dreamy -- a beautiful love story. However, now, it's almost like grief -- a tragic sense of longing - now that I know what it all means. I like to think that Francesca & Robert Kincaid are real, although sources claim that the story is a work of fiction; the author tells quite the convincing story. I suppose anyone trying to protect anyone's identity would do the same. No one could write a story like that without having felt that way before or having known of someone who felt that way before. Perhaps there's a bit of Robert & Francesca in all of us -- and if there isn't, well...there certainly will be after you read/listen to this. Be well.

I love these guys!

I listen to a lot of podcasts, often as I'm trying to fall asleep. I listen to different podcasts for different reasons. I hoped these guys might give me a little laugh before I fell asleep & help put my worries aside for awhile. I fell asleep with their podcast playing & awoke hours later with it STILL playing. Well, these guys have got something special because for the first time in as long as I can remember, I awoke while having a funny dream & laughing into my pillow! This lovely trio of down to earth dudes had me smiling before I closed my eyes & as I opened them. I awoke feeling rested for the first time in a while (not like a crazy lady needing to attack the coffee pot). Thanks guys! Keep doing what you do & making the world smile. P.S. I loved Family Ties as a kid, I love your movies, I loved acting when I was younger (MomLife keeps me busy) & my grandmother was my best friend, too! 😊

The whole family loves it! (listened to it 100x)

My whole family loves this (even my husband). The kids have listened to it 100x. It's a feel good book that gets you excited to be alive! who doesn't need more of that? Lol! It would likely be most appealing to children 06-11 years of age, but even adults & teenagers would enjoy a first time listen during a long family car ride or a sleepless rainy night. It definatly brightens your spirits. You can't walk away from this book & not have a positive attitude!

A Must Read for Every Human

Dr. Jordan B. Peterson is a God-send. This book is a must read for every human who wants to cultivate a meaningful life and learn practical ways in which to do so. Dr. Peterson is the wisest, most articulate, and intelligent speaker I have ever known. Countless people have benefited from his university lectures, debates/discussions, interviews (all available on YouTube), and Self Authoring Suite (available through his website); especially young men and those struggling to forge a healthy path forward in life. Honestly...I can't quite find the words to adequately define how much of a positive impact listening to Dr. Peterson has had on my life. Those familiar with his work understand that his message could truly change the world, if more people were willing/able to listen. Thank you, Dr. Peterson. Best wishes to all!
