Historia
In March 1836, the Mexican army led by General Santa Anna massacred more than 200 Texians who had been trapped in the Alamo. After 13 days of fighting, American legends Jim Bowie and Davey Crockett died there, along with other Americans who had moved to Texas looking for a fresh start. It was a crushing blow to Texas' fight for freedom. But the story doesn’t end there. The defeat galvanized the Texian settlers, and under General Sam Houston’s leadership, they rallied. Six weeks after the Alamo, Houston and his band of settlers defeated Santa Anna’s army in a shocking victory.

This is a Short Summary of Accounts
Revisado: 11-23-19
This book is just a summary of the accounts that led to the Texas Independence and becoming its own country. If one is unfamiliar with the war for the Independence of Texas then this is a good book for you to become familiar with some of the players. But if one is interested in the complications as to what led up to the people (to include Mexicans) of the Mexican state of Texas into revolt there are much more detailed and better historical books available. What spurred on the Texan revolt is more important and complicated than the war.

obsessed
Revisado: 06-12-19
Very redundant, especially concerning the missing JFK assassination files. a lot of speculation and overly conspiratorial. Very obsessed with the deceased.

Historia
The Civil War is best remembered for the big battles and the legendary generals who fought on both sides, like Robert E. Lee facing off against Ulysses S. Grant in 1864. In kind, the Eastern theater has always drawn more interest and attention than the West. However, while massive armies marched around the country fighting each other, there were other small guerrilla groups that engaged in irregular warfare on the margins.

Historia
The Knights Templar existed officially for less than 200 years. Founded to protect pilgrims who were travelling through the Holy Lands, their rise to power was sudden. They became some of the most feared warriors in the region, they had a mandate from God, they controlled perhaps the world's first real banking system, and they waged war against anyone who tried to wrestle Christianity and seize holy grounds from the control of the Catholic Church.
