Lifelong Nora Roberts reader and this was her classic story telling blended with a whole new fantasy building world that was excellent while I would have liked a little bit more romance I truly appreciated the story for what it was and can't wait to read the next.

I truly enjoyed and appreciated this book. I liked the struggle Barrett had to accept her not only has a doctor but as a match. Though I must admit I loved Gracie's interactions with the children almost more than those with Barrett!! haha. Great Book!

The male protagonists actions and personality are off putting. He is often borderline physically and verbally abusive. this character is one that does not translate well to the current climate from the point it was originally published. Narration was great and the remaining characters development was good.
