Historia
All of the Shakespeare plays within the Argo Classics catalogue are performed by the Marlowe Dramatic Society and Professional Players. The Marlowe was founded in 1907 with a mission to focus on effective delivery of verse, respect the integrity of texts and rescue neglected plays by Shakespeare’s contemporaries and the less performed plays of Shakespeare himself. The Marlowe has performed annually at Cambridge Arts Theatre since its opening in 1936 and continues to produce some of the finest actors of their generations.

BIGGER PROBLEMS THAN REPORTED
Revisado: 05-20-21
Example: Much Ado About Nothing
Act IV and part of Act V are Chapter 1
End of Act V Chapter 2
Act 3 Chapter 3
Act 1 is on Chapter 4.......
...... come on! Let' s see if Audible, or the manufacturer of the product, will do anything about this... and the other problems presented in the other reviews.
ADDENDUM: Pericles is missing Acts 4 and 5 (what does Audible and Argo Classics have against poor Pericles)? King John as reported elsewhere, is missing Act 5.
Wondering if Audible and/or Argo will fix the above.....
ADDENDUM TO THE ADDENDUM: Just listened to Love's Labors Lost.... there is only Act 5, scene 1. There is no Act 5, scene 2. And Act 5, scene 2 is the longest act in the entire play!

Historia
Arguably Turgenev's greatest work and certainly one of the most controversial Russian novels ever written, Fathers and Sons incited protests from all branches of Russian society. Turgenev dramatized the volcanic issues that divided a Russia torn by social unrest and conflict: peasants against masters, generations against generations, and fathers against sons.

I am returning the book. The reading is correct through chapter 4. Then the book skips, in other words it does not pick up where chapter 5 should begin. Very disappointed.

Historia
When a respected surgeon decides to transplant human body parts into a stray dog, he creates a monster - drunken, profligate, aggressive and selfish. It seems the worst aspects of the donor have been transplanted as well. As his previously well-regulated home descends into riotous chaos, the doctor realises he will have to try to reverse the operation; but the dog isn't so keen....

What was one of the most memorable moments of Bulgakov: A Dog's Heart?
The transformation of the dog Furball into a man
Any additional comments?
German literature gave us Kafka's The Metamorphosis, English lit gave us Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and Russian literature gave us this superb, but lesser known tale. The plot lines all have transformation in them, man turns into bug, man discovers and is overtaken by his evil side, grateful, nice dog turns into mean, ungrateful man. The deeper themes are noteworthy as well, respectfully family relations and isolation; good vs evil; and marked political themes.
All these stories are short and deserve our attention. Longer novels of the genre include Frankenstein , man-vs nature and society isolating man themes; Dracula with its sexual subtext; and Island of Dr. Moreau with its political and religious themes.
