Historia
An uneasy peace between the dwarves of Mithral Hall and the orcs of the newly established Kingdom of Many-Arrows can't last long. The orc tribes united under Obould begin to fight each other, and Bruenor is determined to finish the war that nearly killed him and almost destroyed everything he's worked to build. But it will take more than swords and axes to bring a lasting peace to the Spine of the World.

Where is Victor Bevine?
Revisado: 10-06-15
What did you like best about The Orc King? What did you like least?
I love R.A. Salvatore and the series. But, I have an affinity to Victor Bevine's voice and his animated narration.
Do you think The Orc King needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
Yes the book deserves a follow-up. Give it to Victor Bevine. I believe he will do it justice.
Any additional comments?
Since May 2015, I have blown through the entire series until I got to this book. Starting this one yesterday, I have barely gotten through 2 chapters. :( I have nothing personal against the new reader but, I have a keen ear and in different settings certain voices appeal more to me than others. Perhaps this reader would serve more aptly within Historical fiction or science fiction.

A good older novel from Patricia Cornwell.

Would you listen to Postmortem again? Why?
I would listen to Postmortem because Cornwell writes smart novels.
Who was your favorite character and why?
My favorite character was Scarpetta because she has a heart. She approaches each case with sensitivity and dignity. Though the murders are horrendous and brutal and demeaning, she raises the victims' identity to that of an individual deserving respectful treatment both in life and in death.
What does C. J. Critt bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
C.J. Critt's voice was a little less than inspiring since I began listening to Cornwell's Scarpetta novels with Kate Reading as the performer. Still, Ms. Critt delivers a quality experience clearly more enjoyable than if I'd only read the book.
