Historia
It’s the flight before Christmas and Molly just got an unexpected gift: a free first-class upgrade on her plane trip home for the holidays. Bring on the complimentary cocktails! But after one too many, she spills all her secrets to the hot guy seated next to her—only to wake up mortified when her buzz has worn off. At least she never has to see Liam again ... or so she thinks. When Molly arrives at Christmas House, the festive rental home that she and her family are sharing with her sister’s fiancé and his wealthy family, she discovers that Liam is one of the new in-laws. Oops.

A good time, just don’t overthink it
Revisado: 12-24-24
Molly was annoying to me bc she lacked critical thinking skills. The “twists/secrets” were obvious, but I had a really good time listening to this book. Narrators were amazing.

Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Surprised me
Revisado: 09-20-24
I was pretty sure I would be bored with this book bc I’m not very good at science or math, but it had so many recommendations, I took a chance. The narrator was spot on. He perfectly conveyed every emotion. And Rocky’s voice was perfect! It’s a slow build, but definitely worth it.

I loved/hated this book
Revisado: 09-05-13
I both loved and hated this book.
I loved the male lead, Josh, in this book. He was handsome, kind, and a smart-alack. What I disliked about this book was the female lead. She was just so dense and so hurtful to Josh. She constantly refused to give Josh credit for being a decent guy for no apparent reason other than he dated a lot in his past. I just got to the point where I was muttering out loud about how stupid she was. The ending of the book also just seemed to drag out f-o-r-e-v-e-r. I really enjoyed all the other books in this series. I think if Maria had not been so dumb and self-absorbed, I would have enjoyed this book more.

Just as good as I remember
Revisado: 01-23-13
I read this series when it first came out and enjoyed it then. Listening to the story (after having read it) really made the story come alive for me. I was worried about keeping up with all the characters in this book, but the narrator does an excellent job of making each character distinct. I have already purchased book 2 and plan to eventually listen to the whole series.

Laugh out loud funny
Revisado: 07-12-12
I stumbled upon the first Jane Jameson book right when it first came out. I loved the crazy quirkiness of the character. The main character in Driving Mr. Dead is just as quirky and honestly even more enjoyable (in my opinion) than Jane's character. The situations she finds herself in are obviously not realistic, but seriously, if that is what you are looking for then this book is not for you.
I am excited that Ms. Harper appears to be expanding this series and introducing us to new characters and cannot wait to meet them.
The narrator's voice was a little annoying to me at first, but I eventually got used to her tone and still ended up enjoying the story and have even listened to this book several times when I am in the mood for a good laugh.
