Historia
Eswar Prasad explains the world of finance is at the threshold of major disruption that will affect corporations, bankers, states, and indeed all of us. The transformation of money will fundamentally rewrite how ordinary people live. Above all, Prasad foresees the end of physical cash. The driving force won't be phones or credit cards but rather central banks, spurred by the emergence of cryptocurrencies to develop their own, more stable digital currencies.

Good content. Dense for an audio book. Get print or Kindle
Revisado: 01-28-23
The book was an argument for why central banks will shift away from paper currency to crypto currency over time and continue to control monetary policy, while decentralised, independent crypto won’t dominate. There are a lot of terms and it would be better digested in a visual format, especially if you’re listening on the go.

Historia
Prince Lyov Nikolayevitch Myshkin is one of the great characters in Russian literature. Is he a saint or just naïve? Is he an idealist or, as many in General Epanchin's society feel, an "idiot"? Certainly his return to St. Petersburg after years in a Swiss clinic has a dramatic effect on the beautiful Aglaia, youngest of the Epanchin daughters, and on the charismatic but willful Nastasya Filippovna. As he paints a vivid picture of Russian society, Dostoyevsky shows how principles conflict with emotions - with tragic results.

Constantine Gregory’s voice and acting skills make him an amazing narrator
Revisado: 03-02-22
Another Dostoyevsky masterpiece. Story meanders and characters can be confusing at times, but the meandering allows a fluid juxtaposition of innocence, empathy, realism and vapid society that allows the reader to engage on the journey. Constantine Gregory is magnificent.

Dated, but still useful
Revisado: 01-08-17
A lot has happened in retail in the last 6 years since this was published. An updated edition would be interesting. That said, the major trends are still relevant. It is worth a read for anyone in retail management.
The narrator was a bit sleep inducing. Speeding up the reading pace to 2x helped.
