Always superb in the tradition of McDougal, Fuhrman, Esselstein, McGregor, et al who are unraveling the human dilemma of eating ourselves to death. DEmbrey, worthless attorney.

Historia
After 17 years at sea, Linda Greenlaw figured it was time to take a break from her career as a swordboat captain. She felt she needed to return to Isle au Haut - a tiny island seven miles from the Maine coast with a population of 70 year-round residents, 30 of whom were her relatives. She would pursue a simpler life; move back in with her parents and get to know them again; become a professional lobsterman; and find a guy, build a house, have kids, and settle down. But all doesn't go as planned.

I was poor 19 yr old soldier made $68/mo. I couldn't afford a lobster. I knew "downeasterners" were a different breed, as well as lobsterman, crabbers and clammers. French fisherman we had to shower them before drafting into Army. This fun book explained the mystery of lobstering and the fascinating people who bring them to our tables. I think Linda is a doll and she coulda trapped me but I never heard of Aus de Haut Island. A Widower 71 I was recently "trapped" again so never quit trying. Love is found in least likely places.

Revisado: 06-18-15
I appreciate the author and wonderful people in our defense agencies. I'm a patriotic VN vet. I just can't fathom how the group of terrorists simply waltz onto our airliners and create the havoc and yet it seems the author blames everyone else. Someone in government blew it and was not held responsible.

Historia
Morten Storm was an unlikely Jihadi. A six-foot-one red-haired Dane, Storm spent his teens in and out of trouble. A book about the Prophet Mohammed prompted his conversion to Islam, and Storm sought purpose in a community of believers. He attended a militant madrasah in Yemen, named his son Osama, and became close friends with Anwar al-Awlaki, the American-born terrorist cleric. But after a decade of Jihadi life, he not only repudiated extremism but, in a quest for atonement, became a double agent for the CIA and British and Danish intelligence.

Revisado: 06-10-15
Much to my surprise I shared a similar home life as Storm. By Gods grace I too changed my life and made a successful life. I've always been repulsed by the barbarity of Muslims who deliver so much venom to humanity and even to each other. Storm's superb book has enlightened me and I hope he pursues the God of love and Christ. Don't misread me, I'm a vet and believe Islamic terrorists should be eradicated as the cruel Nazis were.

Historia
In 2008 veteran journalist Evan Wright, acclaimed for his New York Times best-selling book Generation Kill and co-writer of the Emmy-winning HBO series it spawned, began a series of conversations with super-criminal Jon Roberts, star of the fabulously successful documentary Cocaine Cowboys. Those conversations would last three years, during which time Wright came to realize that Roberts was much more than the de-facto “transportation chief” of the Medellin Cartel during the 1980s, much more than a facilitator of a national drug epidemic.

Sunday, December 7, 1941, dawned clear and bright over the Pacific....
But for the Dauntless dive-bomber crews of the USS Enterprise returning to their home base on Oahu, it was a morning from hell. Flying directly into the Japanese ambush at Pearl Harbor, they lost a third of their squadron and witnessed the heart of America's Navy broken and smoldering on the oil-slicked waters below.

How sad to watch this nation sink into decay led by amoral unpatriotic politicians/civilians from our President down. My years of studying law leads me to believe that patriotic men are Christian and the Bible is the answer to mankinds cycle of self-defeat and cowardice
