Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes. It is an enjoyable story with just the right amount of romance for me.
Who was your favorite character and why?
The main female, Miara, is my favorite character. She is strong in her craft and doesn't need saving from her peers.
What about Tanya Eby’s performance did you like?
At first it seemed that her pace was a bit quick, but I got used to it and she separated characters well. Occasionally, it was difficult to tell that there had been a scene change, so an extra pause would have been good here and there, but her voice is pleasant and it was easy to forget I was listening and instead get into the story.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, although I listen to audio books in roughly 40 minute increments during my commute. The story moves well and it was difficult to turn it off when I got home or to work!
Any additional comments?
I had purchased and read this book last year. I received a free audio copy from the author. I enjoyed the audio version just as much as I'd enjoyed the paper version and I'm looking forward to reading the next installation!
