Another terrific read of the Spell monger books 5 star!

An epic book read by a top notch talent. If you like detailed books of traditional fantasy from the point of view of a magic-user. The Spell-monger books are your ticket. My only problem is that they need to hurry the heck up and get more of the previously written books on audio? Cheers! Where are 6 7 8 and 9?

For those who like the unknown becoming a hero this is another great tale

This is tale is not unique but it is well made and fun. I like all the books i. The audio series thus far and appreciated a make mage is one if the main characters. I enjoyed the love story and the women were strong physically tough heroes as well so there are points of entry for all. That said it was not so politically correct to ruin the story and I hope audible brings book 4 to audio. Cheers to the narrator as he was was terrific and added a lot to the tale and got most pronunciations of fictional thing correct or believably correct. Cheers

Possible end point for the Kyle and Cody Riggs & nano-ship saga

This is book 12 and still fun and interesting. Of all exploratory/military science fiction not carried by a publisher. This book and the entire series was just amazing. The author starts with some very simple and believable technologies that are quite clearly on the horizon. And takes them to a fun speculative place that is populated by a wide variety of life forms. But what kept things from becoming boring like so much hard sci-fi is that the main characters were vivid and central. They were not just pawns for one mans speculation about an alien or tech scenario. And that along with lovable characters, well painted vicarious experiences from sex to nano injection to tightly drawn battle scenes, that make the reader effortlessly jump from book to book and not get bored. That they have been able to keep things fresh without too much redundancy for this many episodes is a real testament. Anyone who like military or light science speculation with lots of adventure will love these books. They were a genuine delight for me while I was needing the solace of a book, or in this case a well performed book on audio. Every book involves you, gives you a bit to speculate on, and lots to feel vicariously. Everything a well told story should do. I would recommend it to any Sci-fi reader or listener. Well written and terrifically performed.

For a fun vivid yarn you actually care about.

This is a terrific fun combo for adventure. Roman military features, good tech, A dystopian universe of multi species politics. And a group of corrupt power grasping misanthropes and one clever but not calculating Southern rogue.

Engaging and yet soothing narration. The story was engaging to read and left you with things to think about. Feels very real like a historical fiction read that I would enjoy.

BV Larson is a great storyteller and his narrators are great.

Machine World is another terrific ride in the absurd as reality war stories ever. Our hero with dumb luck, his own internal compass and his wits find his way through another set of adventures they have to be real. Great capture of action a dystopian techno future and absurdist humor. The rogue individual as survivor and therefore hero.lots of fun but best for adults with a background in infantry and military bureaucracies.
