Historia
In my book, you will meet a little girl named Viola who ran from her past until she made a life-changing decision to stop running forever. This is my story, from a crumbling apartment in Central Falls, Rhode Island, to the stage in New York City, and beyond. This is the path I took to finding my purpose but also my voice in a world that didn’t always see me.

amazing , amazing, amazing! I completely loved this book. it was exceptionally moving and exposed the reality of being dark skinned in a world that doesn't believe that black is beautiful.

Historia
With her fiance now her ex-fiance, Ace has hightailed it back to Bugtussle, Mississippi, and back to her Gramma Jones's house. Her best friends, Lilly and Chloe, are delighted she's back, but Ace still has some challenges ahead of her. She is stuck working as a substitute teacher while harboring fantasies of running the art teacher who replaced her out of town. Lilly and Chloe are obsessed with setting her up on less-than-romantic blind dates - even though all she wants is a break from her pitiful love life.

Mad Fat Fun

I love this book series. The author does an excellent job developing the characters to the point where the reader feels like they know them. The spunky personality of Ace Jones causes the reader to laugh, cry, and hold their breath throughout the entire book.
