This is a fun listen based on two world famous women, Josephine Baker and Julia Childs. They bother served their country during a time when neither was respected. A good listen of storytelling.

Storytelling done right!

I was enthralled in this story from the very beginning. The effort to bring this tragic story to life was exactly what it needed. While Tamika's life was stolen from her, I felt light from hearing the details unfold. We need Ms. Ericka to bring more stories to life with her amazing storytelling style. Thank you all for telling Tamika's story, it's one I won't forget.

This was such a good short story. The cast did an amazing job narrating this story. And as Black Southern woman, I loved how this story addressed death and grief. How Black families hold on to tradition and don't like change. We all must make our own traditions and that's ok!

When I purchased your book, I thought I was buying a self help book. Little did I know this was not quite that. Thank you for sharing your story with us. To have grown up during the BET years in the beginning was amazing. You don't receive enough recognition for being a pioneer as you should. I would love to hear more about your journey as a hotelier and what it means to a successful woman in that male dominant industry.

Keep breaking down walls and leading the for other women to follow. And please give us another book talking about your amazing hotels!

Real love with real people

This book is great for individuals or couplesst every stage of their relationship. DJ Envy and Gia did a great job.

I love how they chose to work through the infidelity, but on their terms. Envy speaking on the importance of seeking help during your low points as a Black Man is needed. The Black community is embracing therapy more, and that's beautiful.

Gia and her resilience on how SHE wanted to move forward after infidelity was beautiful. Even with her mind made up, she put her first, but she allowed her heart and mind to be open for a different outcome.

I recommend couple to read this book a few times, because so many gems are here, if you listen.
