A book that cannot be put down

This has to be one of the longest books that I've ever listened to. But it was well worth the time. A very captivating story, amazing how some inner family workings actually work. Why some people do what they do just to feel that they are in control. I feel that it's sad. But then these people who prey upon the weak both mentally and weak are weak themselves. The narration is excellent. One of the best that I've heard so far with all the books that I have listened to in all the years that I have had with Audible.

I grew up listening and performing James Taylor's songs while in high school back in the '70's. His music had touched my heart back then & continues to do that 40+ years later. Having the music included with this book was fantastic! Now I really know the true meaning of Fire & Rain.
I feel sorry for those who didn't appreciate the included music because this is what makes this book extremely unique. If you're not a musician you might not understand why this is book is great.
James, I hope you make another book just like this to tell us the rest of the story! ❤

Hard to Believe

Watching Shaun on YouTube, he seems to be such a wonderful man. But just like everyone there's a dark side. This is Shaun's dark side to his life many many years ago. Thankfully he's leading a respectable life in England. Too bad he's been deported, I'd love to meet him & talk to him about the Steve Avery case.

How long will it be until the next book in this series will be published? Nearly a year again??? Sure hope not because we're being left with another great cliff hanger!

Captivating

I really enjoyed this book. It always keeps you wondering how the plot will change. The narrators did an excellent job which certainly added to the suspense!

Excellent Book

Mr. Dixon's experience in Viet Nam were so vivid, he made me feel as if I was right beside him during his time spent fighting the war. I grew up watching this war on t.v., and it has always pained me deep in my heart how the soldiers were treated when they came home. Thank you Mr. Dixon for sharing your story with us. It captivated me so much I listened to it in one sitting.

Loved the narrator!

Having this story told from Gray's point of view made the story more interesting. His voice was not fake reading the parts of a female. I wish the entire series was exactly like this.
