The narrator is possibly one of the worst. Most of the time he sounds like he is drunk and the rest he sounds like an over enthusiastic sports announcer. I don’t need a whole book yelled at me.

Really good book.

It was a really good book but what took away from it is inconsistency in time lines and either the book wasn’t edited and the narrator was too lazy to correct words or the narrator can’t pronounce some words but there were a lot of errors other than that it’s a really good story

Not bad

The book wasn’t bad but it did have its annoying parts. The romance aspect last for a few hours and you just want it to stop the whole time. The rest of the book is a few minutes of action then an hour or so of internal dialogue. The last and for me the most annoying part is the constant complaining about how bad earth has it compared to the rich scions from other worlds. Once or twice with the complaining is ok not several times a chapter.
One good thing is they didn’t have Wayne Mitchell doing women’s voices.

The book was good and could be awesome if the author would lay off the stats and build inflection. It detracts from the story too much. By the end of the book you’re left feeling like the book went nowhere, it’s very disappointing. I don’t mind stats but it carries on a little too much.

Pleasantly surprised!

Put this book off for a while not knowing if I’d like it. I can honestly say it was one of the better books I have listened to in this genre so far this year. The story is good, and the narrator is awesome. I highly recommend the book to anyone who is on the fence about getting it, you won’t regret it!

I really don’t understand why there are so many complaints about the narrator. I listened to Todd read something and he sounded like a computer! The story is awesome! And the narrator does a good job. Don’t let bad reviews keep you from this series.
