This book takes the series to another level and expounds on the situation Slater finds himself in. We get a deeper look at some of the other characters and Daym that ending! I'm pumped for book 3! Awesome narration as always from Jack, I will listen to any book read by him.

Real emotional ride!

Love it! Dark in places, fun in others. The narrator brought so much to the emotion of the story, giving all the characters a personality and really hitting a home run with the pacing.

Great sequel to an awesome first book. Loved the new characters and enjoyed the returning ones. Phineas is still my favourite! The plot moved forward very nicely and I love the direction the series is going. I can see things getting pretty epic! Good job by the narrator again (gruff old Army guy done to a T). Clear and varied voices for all the characters.

Didn't expect this new angle but loved the direction. Iv played the total war series and so loved this as an idea for a litrpg. Great job by the narrator, very distinct voices for each character. Get book 2 done quickly!!
