Very slow start

Neverending Whining

If you want to listen to non-stop whining, this is totally the book for you. Even more so when, after getting 8 hours in, you get the chapter all about her period. I was recommended this series based on other things I listen to...boy was this a miss.

The narrator at least tried really hard. Different voices and accents for everyone. Special inflections for races that say words uniquely. They'd be a great narrator for a better book.

This book has no right to be as fantastic as it was. Funny, endearing, entertaining...nothing like you'd expect from the title. Seriously, spend the credit on this book. You won't regret it.

Average story, sub par narrator

Story isn't amazing, especially if you are a die hard Spider-Man fan. It is nice to hear a bit about Peter and his thoughts on the Rhino. But it's like the author doesn't really understand the characters he's playing with. Having Black Cat have to ask a question like "what's a shaman?" Seriously? Why give Felicia the 'dumb' treatment? It really made me analyze how the characters were being written even closer. I don't think the author has ever truly read Spider-Man. Just did a bit of research to spit this book out...which clearly wasn't enough.

Fun story as long as you don't want hard science

This is a story that mixes Bobiverse with The Martian, but leaves the science out of it. It's worth a listen and is enjoyable enough that I will pick up the sequel when it comes out. Not sure why this is tagged as Heavy Sci-Fi though as it really isn't that heavy.

A Lot Of Book For 1 Good Story and a few Average

Minority Report was really good to hear. The rest of the stories in this one aren't outstanding. I was sad that I was mostly bored with so much of this collection compared to the others.

Even Better Than The Martian

The story is excellent. Taking you through memories as our character regains them is a nice way to keep you, the reader, in pace with what the main character is thinking.

The natation...well. It's Ray Porter. You just can't go wrong with him.

Lovecraft Would Be Proud

This story was really well written and fantastically narrated.

What starts off as a normal day in the life becomes a trip into mystery and the unknown. The characters are distinct from each other and you really start to appreciate their uniqueness as the story progresses.

All the reviews that talked about this book not being believable clearly didn't know what genre they were getting into. This is not just normal fiction. This is fiction in the way Stephen King novels with other dimensions or aliens or ghosts are fiction.

This book is worth every moment to listen to.
