I'm not going to be the one to tell you that this is a perfect book. I think that this is the point in the series where the thread is beginning to be lost. At this point we have seen the formula of the POV main character being introduced to the frat boys a few times over. This one attempts to be an enemies to lovers story, but the background plot around Tate is so entirely distracting that I find it difficult to care about the enemies to lovers side of the story. I like that they bring back some of the more interesting characters, but they also find a way to make me not like some of the characters who I already enjoyed in previous books and continue to enjoy in every book except for this one. I don't find Hudson to be a likable love interest, I can't put past how much of a douchey is sometimes. And not to mention the storyline that I said was distracting makes entirely no sense. The resolution is so out of pocket that I can't possibly imagine anyone actually doing that.

Look I'm going to be for real. I am completely biased. London is easily my favorite character out of all of these books. He was my favorite character in the second book, and he is by far my favorite character in this book. I think the way that he is written helps tackle the plotline in a more interesting way than any of the more serious characters could of, but I also think that he offers a dichotomy between both serious and goofy fun times that he's able to play off of Gabriel. One thing I found common in this series is that the main character in the love interest character don't necessarily click together. This book is a perfect example of how to write characters with chemistry. there's a reason they shouldn't get together, There is a reason they feel guilty about it starting, but they can't resist. I think that all of the small storylines that are connected throughout this book are some of the stronger side plots that we see throughout the entire series. I found myself actually invested in what was going to happen next rather than scoffing off how ridiculous the situation could be. My belief was thoroughly suspended.

I really like the introduction of a traditional trope, that is what has got me into this series. however, I don't feel like the two plotlines click together seamlessly. I think there's a little bit of friction between the beginning, middle, and end. These are some of the more interesting characters in all of the books, but I feel like they were given a flatline story that creates too many excuses where other characters have to tell them how to feel.

This was my introduction to the series and it kept me wanting more. I feel like there are some extremely silly moments within this book that are extremely unrealistic, but they are introduced in such an entertaining way with such an entertaining performance that you can't help but ignore how incomprehensible they are. The only reason I can't give this a perfect five stars is because the mocktails are a little excessive. You can look me In the eyes and tell me there is a college notorious for gay men, but you cannot convince me they drink this many mocktails.

while there are some differences in the story, many of the plot points are shared between books three and four and feel watered down. I don't feel like I get to know the main character very well, Parker, he just kind of existed. The love interest I feel like I know more, but he's still painfully vague compared to the interesting personalities and hijinx we have seen in this series. It just feels out of place

My journey through this series has been fun overall but troubling in some spots. the performance is amazing and really captures the story. The issue is there are very descriptive moments regarding children in a sexual nature. I understand this is accurate to a medieval and veen early Modern os living, but it's pretty gross.
