Comical Adventure Across the Dimensions

Despite overbearing conservative rhetoric (which truly borders on the obnoxious level), great moments of nerdy science fiction shine through.
It seems that several times through each of the chapters a rabbit trail emerges to make some political or social comment that has little to do with the story. When the storyline reappears it's back into fantastic and goofy action!
if a sequel is to come, I hope that these detractions are few and far between, as they are the only thing holding it back from being a 5 star book!

Thione Aldermann, a third generation homesteader in the Columbia Valley, now the first interplanetary traveler, is completely out of her depth as she and Guest hurtle through the cosmos toward his homeworld. She doesn’t know what she’s doing, she can’t speak the language, and even worse, no one feels like telling her why she’s there. One thing’s for sure; she’s not along for the ride.
