High School Drama
Revisado: 09-15-22
This book has all the angst, jealousy, presumed love and color as high school, here an affluent group. The Characterization of students, teachers and parents is rich with detail. Relationships between the above parties is intense giving Ms Ward's suspenseful novel a complex twist on womens sports.
Great read, I suggest her other books!

Historia

Unclear it’s in foreign language when purchasing

I was disappointed to see that the book was not in English. I bought using a credit. Will watch closely in the future. Just a warning to others!

Historia
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

Digging down....
Revisado: 03-29-17
What did you like best about The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck? What did you like least?
It does encourage people to priotirize emotionally (hence title) if you are to find the time to really lead the life you want to lead.
If you’ve listened to books by Mark Manson before, how does this one compare?
I have read re-work which I believe has some overlap in team or maybe it's the orator, but I can't say I have listened to all five hours. I think it's a good road trip type book ( and will explain below why I don't do this) because it's kind of 'therapy' if one would listen at a normal audible pace. I'm not in that setting so I am learning to put these lengthy books that feel a little 'infomercial' in style into 2.5 speed to get idea and to see how long author is going to delve into whatever topic he's addressing. Then I can skim it and see if it's a keeper for on the road. It is, though this then always being the issue of the potentially high cellular bill so given that it's a five hour book, I'll likely not go too far because I can't these principles and go do what I think is important if I have to get this idea in five hours unless the author really somehow knows my baggage.
Did Roger Wayne do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
Not really relevant as it's examples....behavioral and thought modification.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
No, I don't think question is tailored to this type of book, irrelevant.
Any additional comments?
Thank you.
