Historia
How does a pro-choice doctor who once performed abortions for Planned Parenthood wind up on the opposite side of this embattled issue? Dr. Patricia Giebink was overpowered by God’s perspective at a healing conference, becoming a pro-life advocate who repented before millions for doing abortions. As the author tells her emotional story, you'll come away with a new understanding of the complexity of life, the risks of abortion, the power of prayer, and the greatness of God’s love and forgiveness - which is big enough to cover the pain of all affected by this controversial procedure.

Authentic. Vulnerable. Redemption
Revisado: 01-18-22
This truly was such an excellent read. I heard Dr. Giebink on Family Life Radio. I learned soooo much about abortion and the laws in place on both sides. I appreciated her full transparency. No one is exempt from redemption. Absolutely no one. I’m glad she was able to heal and then use her story as a powerful testimony. I pray this book can become a testament to the transforming love of Jesus Christ.
The only con, and a very little one, I would say was that as much as I thought the narrator did an excellent job as far as enunciation, diction, and even tone at times, I still often felt that she her voice didn’t match the story being told if that makes sense.
Overall absolutely excellent!

Historia
In Gay Girl, Good God, author Jackie Hill Perry shares her own story, offering practical tools that helped her in the process of finding wholeness. Jackie grew up fatherless and experienced gender confusion. She embraced masculinity and homosexuality with every fiber of her being. She knew that Christians had a lot to say about all of the above. But was she supposed to change herself? How was she supposed to stop loving women, when homosexuality felt more natural to her than heterosexuality ever could?

One of THE GREATEST BOOKS I’VE READ
Revisado: 07-25-21
This book made me laugh, it made me cry, it brought conviction upon my heart to want to love God more and understand people better. It gave me a greater understanding of the life of a homosexual. And even greater how good God is and the extent of which His love goes for us. It brought down many stereotypes that I’ve grown up in the church know about so many things. I feel like every person in the world should read this book!!! And Jackie’s lyrical stance and poise of her words are just so drawing! I loved all of the analogies, metaphors, personification, I mean everything!!! And how she described her husband and how he loved her, whew!!!!
This book this book, I pray would reach every soul who needs to know the Lord intimately. Not just the same sex attracted Christian but the opposite attracted ones too.
I may just read the whole thing all over next week. Absolutely a must read.
