If that’s not your thing skip this book.
But if it’s not a trigger, this book is awesome!! I loved the mmc. He is so sweet and caring. Damaged and full of grief but so loving. The mfc seems wise beyond her years. Wonderful story telling and world building. This book is yet another great work.

This book was awesome!! The only down side to this book was *spoiler* the dogfighting scene. If u have any triggers to animals getting hurt, u may want to skip that part. The upside to this scene was a bait puppy being saved. This stuff happens everyday and it did make the story more real but oh my heart! Spice level off the charts!

This story held me from the first chapter. by the end I was near tears. it's not often you read a book that makes you feel the characters and you feel for them like real people. This is a tear jerker so be prepared! Well worth the read tho!
