Book has paid for itself...& every other Audible book I've bought HUNTING for whats here. Narrator is PHENOMENAL. Great tone to relay of this info.
The book??? Where to. start?? Step by Step by step...amazing organization. After 3rd listen, I basically "coauthored" the book. By listen #9, had each Secret detailed on a series of pages - to account for each phase. Replaced "Click Funnels" with my own business, created my own epiphany bridge...yadda yadda. Two weeks ago (Sept 2019) first live presentation using my "reAuthored" version, tailored to fit to my specific business. (Only 10% web based...if that much. Live, interactive workshops). Usually no more than 12 attendees & immediately selling 3 of 12 was *stellar*. Applied principles & got 27 to attend!!! Whooo hooo!! Then I sold 19 THAT evening. I used my notes and did not miss one single pointer. MY FIRST APPLICATION OF CONCEPTS has reinvented my practice!!! Russell....you're "da man".

Authors need friends...

...who will be honest & admit that they (the inner circle) are accustomed to hearing the author's speaking voice but the writing deserves a narrator.
Anyone new to the self improvement/discovery works might find this valuable. If you're into therapy type reads, instead of action-to-result learning then there's solid information.
My overall review is: I found it to be hinged on very "painted" examples versus this is step 1 of acting now. That plus the dry, inflection-free voice made it boring. I couldn't get past chapter 3. Wasted a credit; deleted it from my device.

...are irritating & distracting. I own hundreds of physical books but I buy audiobooks to keep from lugging books when I'm on the move. In a book about voice there is NO good reason to not record vocal/sound samples INTO the audiobook. Instead, there's not 1 sample but constant links to videos 5j dot biz slash voice slash something. To look at anything is both unnecessary & purpose defeating (for buying an audiobook). Made for an irritating, barely educational listen - which equals wasted money.

This narrator's lackadaisical moving vocally between a monotone & (equally monotonous) whispers is horrible. Listen to Hannibal Lector as he's telling Clarice that he had a victim's liver with farve beans... that tone is the tone if this book. What would make it better? Mitch Harowitz doing it over. Harowitz makes Goddard's work come to life. This narrator, not so - and the work is stellar and the narration subtracts from it.
