Historia
Audie Award, History/Biography, 2016. On the night of July 20, 1969, our world changed forever when Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walked on the moon. Based on in-depth interviews with 23 of the 24 moon voyagers, as well as those who struggled to get the program moving, A Man on the Moon conveys every aspect of the Apollo missions with breathtaking immediacy and stunning detail.

Would you listen to A Man on the Moon: The Voyages of the Apollo Astronauts again? Why?
This is one of the most enchantig tellings about the Apollo project. Very well written and narrated with interesting additional information to the events.

The chronolgy stays stong until the end. After Apollo 13 the story stays strong and makes you wish Apollo 20 would not have been cancelled.

Historia
Something has gone wrong. A group of American bombers armed with nuclear weapons is streaking past the fail-safe point, beyond recall, and no one knows why. Their destination - Moscow. In a bomb shelter beneath the White House, the calm young president turns to his Russian translator and says, "I think we are ready to talk to Premier Kruschchev." Not far away, in the War Room at the Pentagon, the secretary of defense and his aides watch with growing anxiety...

If you could sum up Fail-Safe in three words, what would they be?
Next Generation Orwellian
What did you like best about this story?
The gripping and chilling premises. The way this story is build up from and turns out to be one of the most haunting stories I've ever read. It's important for every human being in our era to have read and listened to this story multiple times. Those who do not learn from their past are bound to repeat themselves.
Have you listened to any of Kevin Kraft’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
no

Historia
Adapted from Decoded, Meltzer's hit show on the History network, History Decoded explores many fascinating and unexplained questions. Is Fort Knox empty? Why was Hitler so intent on capturing the Roman "Spear of Destiny"? What's the government hiding in Area 51? Where did the Confederacy's $19 million in gold and silver go at the end of the Civil War? Did Lee Harvey Oswald really act alone?

This should be listed under fiction

Suficient
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Dissapointment
Any additional comments?
I feel authors like Jim Garrison, Mark Lane and Jim Marsh are badly misunderstood and misrepresented. Its a respectless exersize of populistic conspiracy-crackpotting
