Old Science Fiction is amazing!
Revisado: 09-21-24
I really like the story and the battle between two very different personalities. I recommend this one as a classic for anyone who wants a good basis for newer sci fi.

Heart wrenching. Kept me trying to guess.

I felt like I got to know the characters. The story wound through the town like a teenager in a cemetery on a summer night.

Shawn is a scientist developing the formula for a drug that may cure blindness by stimulating another area of the brain that controls perception. When he surreptitiously tests the drug on himself, he accidentally accesses a neural pathway that appears to allow him to communicate with a complete stranger through telepathy instead. When Shawn finally discovers the significance of their connection and of the drug’s true effects, it is too late to stop the damage their intimate friendship has set in motion to unfold.

The reader pronounced words in an odd manner, didn't change tone very often, and there was absolute silence due to edits. The story was an intriguing concept and I recommend you read it.

This was an interesting read, although a great deal of it sounded like a history book. Overall, I enjoyed the author's take on Genesis.

I enjoyed getting to know the characters, but the story didn't seem to go anywhere. if the concept was repetition, then it was perfect.
