Patricia Rodriguez won a well deserved "Earphones Award" from audiophile magazine for her narration of this book. This book is particular challenging considering the number of different characters she had to bring to life. She brings a distinct voice to each character, bringing them all to vibrant life. The story itself is a humorous look at the real issues and repercussions facing our society regarding how the internet is feeding us only what it "thinks" we want to see and read based on search engines algorithms. The book points out the reality of how we are not customers of the internet, but rather, we are the products of the internet, with our information being sold to big corporations, the actually customers.

road trip" sci fi with excellent narration

Reading the previous reviews, you either love or hate the production of the audible book with the music and sounds in the background: I loved it! I thought it really added to story and complemented the excellent narration by Patricia Rodriguez. Ms. Rodriguez is one of the few narrators that nailed all the voices, male and female, making each voice unique and believable, without having to resort to excessive and unbelievable changes in the tonality of their voice. She made each character come alive with their different personalities. Made listening an absolute pleasure. The story itself is a fun, unique and refreshing road trip sci-fi. Like all good road trip stories, this is all about the journey and the friends that are taking it together.
