good story, excellent performance
Revisado: 08-06-18
The story was good, and I enjoyed how it jumped back and forth between the present and the past. It had some great moments of suspense. But the biggest selling point was the narrator. I listen to a lot of audio books, and this narrator did just an incredible job with the voices of the different characters. I was amazed at how many different nuances he can get into his voice and into the different portrayals. Wonderful!!

It was just OK
Revisado: 11-07-16
Would you try another book from Michael Rudolph and/or Mark Deakins?
I'm not sure. There were parts of this story that were intriguing, but a lot of parts that really dragged.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
The water storm scene may have been interesting to people who sail, but for me, I just found it really boring.
Did Mark Deakins do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
It was tough for him, because he was a male voicing a female lead. He did a good job, but I would have preferred a female voice.
