I consider this book to be the best of Mel Robbins - I love her and listen to her podcasts. I was so excited for this book - it is seriously LIFE CHANGING.. and it came at the perfect time for me in my life. I have bough 3 copies for friends and family. THANK YOU, MEL!!!

Better Than Expected!

I downloaded this book due to the high reviews and of course, anything Julia Whelan does is pure gold. It was better than I expected! A little predictable, but a very enjoyable listen. I even found my self laughing a little (this never happens with me and audiobooks)! Overall, it was a great story and narration. Worth getting!!

Everything by Elin is Gold.. except narrating.

Loved this book and the plot! Great character development as always. I'm so sad this is the last one!! Erin Bennett is perfect for narrating Elin's books... but the last chapter with the author reading threw me way off course. I didn't know what just happened! I lost connection with the characters and ended the book on a jarring note (I could not even tell you what happened that last chapter). I can understand the reasoning, but it was a mistake. I wouldn't have finished it if it was more than 1 chapter. Left me with an unpleasant feel and that I lost the relationship with the characters. However, still 5 stars for Elin!

Not my usual book, but glad I tried it!

I actually enjoyed this book - the beginning was insightful... middle had a little chemical fluff that lost me... and then ending was the best part. Obviously a brilliant doctor.. yet a great personal story - it shows we all struggle with something. I'm so glad he narrated the book, which made it more special (he mentions he almost didn't).

I loved this.. and appreciate Pastor Piper sharing his story. I lost my dad to brain cancer last year.. and I cried all through this book 1) because my mom took care of my dad almost exactly the way Eva did and 2) I know he is right where he wants to be! During his passing, my dad often said he is ready to go to the Promiseland... and now.. I feel confident he is there!! Thank you for sharing your story!

So Much Better Than I Expected!!

Wow, I loved this book!! Very enjoyable listen. I even found myself laughing. Julia Whelan is one of my favorites narrators and she was perfect for this book. A pleasant book surprise!
