nothing new
Revisado: 09-05-23
I just finished the book and it was fine, at the end of the book it weirdly got political on the authors part and not really about Chuck. Barkley clearly didn't communicate with the author so there was no new information, just information you can get from other Barkley books and interviews regurgitated in a new book.

about an hour of good material
Revisado: 04-18-23
A couple chapters worth listening to. It's fine to hate Trump, but this is a book about McMahon. At times I wasn't sure who the book was written for. The Reader mispronounced many names and even read acronyms as words which was strange. EnWhoa? (NWO)

Historia
John Crist wasn’t always recognizable as “the guy from that hilarious video in the grocery store.” Growing up part of a homeschool family of ten in rural Georgia with Mennonite grandparents and a high-school job at Chick-fil-A, he was an unlikely candidate for internet fame. Despite all that, or perhaps because of it, Crist passionately pursued his dream of stand-up comedy. In Delete That, Crist takes responsibility for his actions, offers some reflections on how to do better, and encourages us all to stop capitulating to the fear of “But what will they think?!”

sounds weird but way better than expected

Got through it in just a couple days, really enjoyed it and Jon's story. 10x better than the Bono book that is dragging me right now.

Historia
Funnyman Adam Carolla is known for two things: hilarious rants about things that drive him crazy and personal stories about everything from his hardscrabble childhood to his slacker friends to the hypocrisy of Hollywood. He tackled rants in his first book, and now he tells his best stories and debuts some never-before-heard tales as well. Adam Carolla started broke and blue collar and has now been on the Hollywood scene for over 15 years. Yet he never lost his underdog demeanor.

good book but isn't the audio book for the book
Revisado: 04-24-21
whole thing is entertaining and if you like the Aceman you will enjoy. But you don't get the book, he skips entire chapters. He just tells you to buy the book, this is the exact type of thing he would rant about if it happened to him. I'm not going to buy your hardcopy Adam! I also probably won't buy another one of your audio books because I WILL NOT BE MANIPULATED in buying your book twice. I just won't buy anymore of your audio books.
