The kind of affirmative book we all need to read, then write
Revisado: 04-15-24
Everyone should write about the good, kind, strong, virtuous that come from the journeys they have had through their lives.
Thank you Gary for all you have learned shared and been inspired to share and serve among human kind. Loved your book. My husband and I listened together. He is a Viet Nam veteran.
As I read I thought of all the good in the true nature of most men and women.
1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Much better than I thought it would be
Revisado: 12-06-23
Like many novels had kind of a slow start, but I had read that in the reviews and was grateful because I’m glad I stuck with it. I enjoyed the story get me, transfixed, wanting to see what came next. It was kind of similar to my own life experience, so I loved how the story showed, so many different characters, growing through the phases of their lives that they do and how we reach a point where our own children, and then grandchildren grow through similar, but yet different things. I can honestly say that even through the hardships in my life, and some very difficult things And many joys, I reached a point in my life where I can look back at what I learn, and like her I can say I am truly grateful for where God helped me to come eventually.
I think Meryl Streep can be a little overdone at times it wasn’t the beginning, but I think it was necessary as you get to know the character, and the way that the character transforms in her reading of the story, and in a emoting, the story is so familiar to myself that I grew into a real appreciation of the way she narrated the story so if you find it a little slow or pedantic in the beginning stick with it, I think you’ll like it as much as I did.

This ambitious, electrifying work traces the harrowing journey of the famed Sarajevo Haggadah, a beautifully illuminated Hebrew manuscript created in 15th-century Spain. Really riveting story
Revisado: 12-14-22
I am a huge sci-fi fantasy fan but I love historical and I love a seriously good murder mystery, especially if it’s set in Scotland or Wales or Ireland which is where my people are from.
I really enjoyed this. it was a lot of fun, mystery, mail butting “what’s next” and kept me listening whenever I had an opportunity to put my AirPods in until I got to the end.

Historia
After Tova Sullivan’s husband died, she began working the night shift at the Sowell Bay Aquarium, mopping floors and tidying up. Keeping busy has always helped her cope, which she’s been doing since her eighteen-year-old son, Erik, mysteriously vanished on a boat in Puget Sound over thirty years ago. Tova becomes acquainted with curmudgeonly Marcellus, a giant Pacific octopus living at the aquarium. Marcellus knows more than anyone can imagine but wouldn’t dream of lifting one of his eight arms for his human captors—until he forms a remarkable friendship with Tova.

Love all Tufo books, some better than others.
Revisado: 08-01-22
Indian Hill is my favorite and I’ve read them all…except Timothy, clown stuff creeps me out.
I got my husband hooked.
Shrouded world was a little dark and hard to really get into in the first two or three books, but the rest of the books pull everything together and BT comes back which is great; so all the other books and the alternate realities start making sense as to the overall picture. I really love learning more about trip, who he is where he comes from, why he is the way he is, and that he is actually A very intelligent man. What I don’t like Mark, is the way that your publishers break up your books and a little teeny bucks that are only 6 to 9 hours long and charge full prices for them. I even read your Riley books.
Kind of a cheap way to make money that could’ve been put into one book and sold. But I’m sure I’ll still follow you and I’ll definitely follow books that Sean is narrating.
Love Zombie fallout.
We’ve been remodeling our house and while we work we listen. My Workman because totally hooked. Lol lol
These series have a lot of gore and There is no beating around the bush holding back when it comes to the gore, and I’m a well read woman. But I love a good monster book or movie. I like end time stories as well as good novels and historical books like Lost to the West.
Marks books are great entertainment and ya really fall in love with the characters that are constant in each story. I wait with anticipation for when they each begin to show up.
Trip and BT are my favorites.

Filled with unforgettable stories of emperors, generals, and religious patriarchs, as well as fascinating glimpses into the life of the ordinary citizen, Lost to the West reveals how much we owe to the Byzantine Empire that was the equal of any in its achievements, appetites, and enduring legacy. For more than a millennium, Byzantium reigned as the glittering seat of Christian civilization.

Second read
Revisado: 07-25-22
Still an amazing read. The similarities to our current day society is pretty astounding. But how could we not continue to make the same mistakes over and over again. There’s always going to be someone somewhere who thinks their way is better and force it by some means upon others or just take what they want by force. In our lifetime it’s done over years, in the slowly boiling pot that is a full boil now. Choices choices choices have consequences good and terribly bad. May God preserve us!!

Historia
Jack Walker and Michael Talbot come from two worlds; the same, yet different. They both find themselves transported into an alien one, where things aren’t as they seem. While it appears similar to the ones they come from, there are some terrifying differences. Is it a dream? Or has reality been somehow warped? Jack comes from a world filled with nocturnal creatures that were once human, but now seek to destroy the last vestiges of humanity.

Not his best, but still an avid follower.
Revisado: 04-17-22
I’ve tried getting into this book twice. I finally got my husband to read Indian Hill with me and he’s listen to the entire zombie follow series, which brought us to this series of books starting with the shrouded world Whistler‘s.
The characters are great Jack is a little monotone in his personality; but he does come from a different world so I’ve been taking that into account.
I have and always will love Talbot and trip, but I’m having a hard time following the story. It’s a little bit confusing to go back-and-forth and back-and-forth with different places and events. I think it’s more of a problem with me than the book itself.
I have read almost all of Tufos books and I finally got my house been hooked on him.
Because I’ve read so many of the others I’m going to stick with this this time and try to follow it and see if I can move through the series. I may have to return them but I’ll wait and see.
I read zombie fallout all 16 first and then went back later to Indian Hill which I have to say is the best series of books out of everything that I believe to fo has done.
