Breathe, smile, and move on. When you’re writing the next chapter in your rags-to-riches-to-rags story, you need about a million quotes like that. I might have been short on inspiration, but I had determination. That was it, except for a very young cousin and a very old campervan, but I was all about starting over. Nobody knew me in New Zealand other than a series of café and motel managers, and anonymity suited me fine. Manlessness suited me even finer.

deep story with all the feels

the characters in the story learn and grow with each other. not your average love story -two strong people who think they know what they want in life and instead find something new with each other . there is fun and laughter but also deep feelings about love and family . great story !

Funny and sad and everything in between!

Layla and Lachlan have many family issues to make it through before they can make it to each other . The story of how they do so is funny and sad and everything in between . There are surprises no one could see coming even the main characters. Both of them have issues - all of this together makes a great story that keeps you interested til the happy end . Having it in audio just makes it even better !

Fantastic romance about a skilled neurosurgeon-Elizabeth- who discovers her life is not all she wants it to be and decides to do something about it . This leads to a temporary stay in New Zealand and some new adventures. The story is funny in some places and heart felt in others , but always real . Along the way she meets Luka , a man who also finds he wants something different. The two together make a romantic , sexy and by the end , happy couple . The journey to get there is the best part . This book is 10/10!

Young love can be true love

The story of Dyma and Owen- she’s a 19 year old starting college , he’s a 25 year old pro football player . They actually meet in the book prior to this but you don’t actually need to read that one to enjoy this one . I actually read this one and then listened to the audio book- it’s wonderful either way. The story of these two has complications but they are both dedicated to each other and continue to work on it together. Emma Wilder is a great narrator . Really all I can say is - this is a wonderful book and you should listen to it !

Super story and great narrator!

I am a big time fan of Rosalind James since I first found her New Zealand series. Since then I have been reading and now listening to every one of her books . Every story is emotional, in depth and the heroine is always a fully developed person. This book is the same - a mom with a almost grown daughter trying to figure out her life . She meets a complicated man and together they figure out a life together. There is a happy ending - which i always want ! The narrator is great - captures the feeling and emotions for each character.
