Historia
How unlucky do you have to be to get abducted by aliens...twice? Snatched from Earth to be a bride for a bad-ass race of warriors, Bridget has barely gotten used to her new life on the high-tech Drexian space station when she’s abducted again. This time the aliens are vicious, bloodthirsty, and have very different plans for the pretty human. Bridget trusts the Drexians will send a rescue party, but she's never been one to play the damsel in distress. And no way is she sticking around to be a part of some creepy alien experiments.

Good sci-fi alien romance
Revisado: 06-08-20
This is a good sci-fi alien romance. It wasn't super impactful, but it wasn't meant to be. It's well-written with a good plot and interesting characters. I found Bridget's tone to be way too flirty for the first part of the book. I know this was her character, but I just felt it was inappropriate. I'm sure that's perfect for other listeners. After a while, either I got used to it or it got better, though. Other than that, I thought it was a great book. It was perfect for listening while cleaning because I could follow along without my full attention on it every minute.

I was living my dream, rotating in space around Mars on the Mars Hope Skylab. As the first American woman this far into space, I’ve accomplished more in my 28 years of life than most. I enjoy my job, so when things go sideways and aliens board my lab, I try to stay positive and make sure that I just observe and stay alive. But I’m immediately grabbed and taken to their ship. Unable to understand them and not knowing what they have planned for me, I have to make some hard choices about whether living is the best way to go. And how far will I go to live?

Good book
Revisado: 08-24-19
I read this series in ebook-format, so I was very happy to see this get narrated. There was plenty of story and the relationship was believable (in a scifi setting). The plot was creative and well-executed, and the writing was good. I really liked the narrators' voices. Although the voice choices made for several of the male side characters were not my favorites, it was still good. I easily got into the performance and story. Overall, I thought the author and narrators did a great job and I look forward to more audiobooks by them.

Addictive
Revisado: 08-14-18
Fantastic book, addictive series. It's hard to sum up what I love about this series. I got sucked into the first one and bought the second one immediately. Then I had to get the third and fourth before I could even finish the second one.
Poor Roman. I love dogs, I love shifters, and I love stories about cute couples. This was perfect. Still, poor Roman. He's adorable. Easton knows dog breeds.
The writing, pacing, and imagination were all excellent. The narration and production quality were top-notch. I would write more, but I have to listen to the next book NOW. All in one sitting. No sleep.

Adorable
Revisado: 08-06-18
I enjoyed this quite a lot. The writing and narration were both excellent. The pacing was spot on and the plot was good. Tim was goofy and cute, but I only really started liking him when Chance came along. Actually, the same goes for Lance. Even the miscommunication was done well without making me roll my eyes. I thought the outside conflict was going to go differently than it did, but that didn't detract from my enjoyment of it. I bought the second audiobook as soon as I finished and look forward to that one at well. Overall, it was a great book!

In the hyper-realistic player versus player MMORPG Fantasy Realms Online, Kromgorn the Barbarian remains trapped alongside his friends by the evil schemes of the Lich-Lord. But despite finding a temporary way to fight back against their enemies in the Secret Order, he's still stuck in the avatar of a simpering Courtesan named Lacey - a female character that was designed exclusively to get down and dirty with the in-game pleasure system. Fun and Addictive Adventure
Revisado: 04-02-18
This is a fun and addictive adventure. I would love to experience a virtual world like this (and I'm not even a gamer) but I would be afraid of getting trapped in it. I'm enjoying the progression of Lacy and her abilities. Like the previous one, this isn't a finished story, but it doesn't end on a cliffhanger, either.
The narrator did a great job as well. His voice is pleasant and the production quality is great. I can understand every word and tell the characters apart.
I look forward to listening to the next audiobook.

In the player-versus-player MMORPG, Fantasy Realms Online, people live out the fantasies they can't in real life, no matter how bloody or sexy they might be, and Kromgorn the Barbarian is no exception. But when the Lich-Lord releases a powerful spell that traps most of the players in the game permanently, Kromgorn accidentally winds up stuck in the avatar of his friend, Lacey - a stupid, low-level female character that was designed exclusively to get down and dirty with the in-game pleasure system.

Good book
Revisado: 03-29-18
I enjoyed this book a lot. It was well written and easy to follow. It didn't end with everything solved, but it wasn't a cliff hanger, either. It wasn't deep and the villain wasn't fleshed out, but that isn't necessary with this kind of book. It's the perfect fun break from reality. I look forward to reading the sequel.

Historia
Hi, how are you? Yes, I am talking to you, the reader of this book's description. Okay, I get it, fourth-wall breaking is overdone. Get over it. This book, Villains Rule, is a fantasy action-comedy which you have to hear. Not because it redefines the genre, far from it. But rather for what it contains. A villain's tale. How often do you get to listen to a story where the villain is the protagonist? No, not an anti-hero, or a brooding monster, nor a hero thinly disguised as a villain. And not evil. If you want evil, take that nonsense to therapy.

Pretty good despite distractions
Revisado: 11-05-17
The writing was excellent, the story was entertaining, and the pacing kept me interested. The limitations the Shadow Master faced and the universe rules were reasonable.
The narration was perfect for this type of story, as the voice and tone fit the humor exactly. Jeffrey Kafer is a professional with flawless production quality, no mistakes, and good pacing. I never had trouble telling the characters apart or guessing anyone’s emotion.
The one problem I had was the Shadow Master repeatedly ridiculing the reader/listener. It took me out of the story completely and irritated me. I like to identify with the main character and I love siding with the villain. This made it impossible to do so. That being said, I enjoyed the ending quite a bit.

Outstanding book with an exceptional performance
Revisado: 07-03-17
I don’t know why I picked up this book. I am a straight fantasy reader and this book has no real magic. Fortunately, I decided to check out the sample (for some reason I can’t fathom) and I could not put it down. This is now in my top favorite books of all time, and the only one without magic. I literally cannot believe how much I loved it.
The humor is fantastic, the writing is brilliant, and the story is captivating. I can’t say I didn’t spot the villain from a mile away, but reading it was the most fun I’ve had in a long time. Every single day, I looked forward to getting my work done because it meant I could read more of this awesome book.
There is nothing I didn’t like about it. I am a huge fan of the author. I look forward to reading everything else he has and ever puts out.
Now, a book and a narrator can be amazing on their own without fitting together. In this case, the narrator could not be better suited for the book. He understood and performed the humor and characters’ personalities perfectly. His voice and production quality were great, making it easy to listen to it for hours on end.

Good twist on fairy tales
Revisado: 04-01-17
Where does The Naked Prince and Other Tales from Fairyland rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I love stories that play on fairy tales, so I was excited to get this one. Although the first story was excellent, I wasn't so impressed with the following ones. They were still good, I just thought the first was the best. The writing style was good.
What did you like best about this story?
The first story.
What about Joel Leslie’s performance did you like?
He did an excellent job with his accents, pacing, and differentiating the characters.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
The first story made me laugh a few times.
Any additional comments?
Definitely worth a listen if you like twists on fairy tales.

Excellent Sequal
Revisado: 07-25-16
Sometimes sequels are disappointing when I thought the first book was perfect. That’s not the case with this book. Once again, I didn’t care for the opening and it took me a few chapters to get into it. I am so glad I stuck with it, though, because after two or three chapters, I couldn’t put it down.
Considering how many dragon books there are in the world, I am impressed by how unique and creative “Heartstrikers” 1 & 2 are. There wasn’t a single character that I thought was unnecessary or underplayed. The action, dialogue, and description were done very well.
The narrator did an excellent job. I could tell the characters apart, the accents were done well, and there was plenty of emotional depth. The voice for Julius in particular fit the character perfectly.
Overall, it was a creative idea written by an exceptional author that was brought to life by an impressive narrator. I’m eagerly awaiting the next book.
