Would you try another book from Oliver Pötzsch and Lee Chadeayne (translator) and/or Grover Gardner?
No, I don't think so.
Has The Hangman's Daughter turned you off from other books in this genre?
Pretty much.
Would you listen to another book narrated by Grover Gardner?
No opinion one way or the other.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Revisado: 07-09-13
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes. It was a good read.
Have you listened to any of Caroline Lee’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Not that I know of.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Don't know.
Any additional comments?
I liked this book and I have to say that I was a little surprised by the end. This was on the list of books to read for my mystery and crime book group and I don't think that I would really classify this as that but it was an interesting read/listen and I enjoyed the characters and the rich accents that I thought the reader did an excellent job of portraying.

Revisado: 06-12-13
Would you consider the audio edition of Murphy's Law to be better than the print version?
I didn't read the book so I really don't know, I just know that I enjoyed the audio edition.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
I don't think the book was supposed to be "keep you on the edge of your seat" kind of book. It did keep me interested and I was always eager to hear the next stage.
Which character – as performed by Nicole Greevy – was your favorite?
Molly of course.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I would have liked that but that usually doesn't work out for me.
Any additional comments?
I really enjoyed this one and will be looking for the next one. It will be interesting to see how her business goes and whether she tells the rest of the truth to her suitor. I love that it had some history and I really loved the readers accent.

Just not my kind of read...listen
Revisado: 06-03-13
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Not really. I had a hard time connecting with the story and felt lost most of the time.
What could Gabriel Horn and Amy Krout-Horn have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
I'm not sure. It is just not my type of read/listen making it even harder to follow for me.
What about Daniel H. Vimont’s performance did you like?
He does a good job of changing his inflections from character to character.
Do you think Transcendence needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
I am probably not the right person to ask this as this is not the type of read/listen I enjoy.

Revisado: 05-26-13
What would have made Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy better?
Nothing that I can think of.
What do you think your next listen will be?
Nothing by this author.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
I didn't like anything about this book.
Any additional comments?
Ugh...this was tough to get through. I started with the book but after 35 pages I knew that there was no way I was going to be able to make my way through the book so I got the DVD. I decided that watching a movie wasn't right so I got the book on CD and tried to listen to it in my car. I have to say that I was lost most of the book and only picked up a few things. I got more information in my book club but I definitely won't be looking for any more of these book. Definitely not my kind of read.

Historia
In a pulls-no-punches essay intended to provoke rational discussion, Stephen King sets down his thoughts about gun violence in America. Anger and grief in the wake of the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School are palpable in this urgent piece of writing, but no less remarkable are King's keen thoughtfulness and composure as he explores the contours of the gun-control issue and constructs his argument for what can and should be done.

Would you consider the audio edition of Guns to be better than the print version?
I don't know as I didn't read the print version.
Any additional comments?
Well, I have to say that I agree with him. Outlawing all guns isn't going to solve the problem. But, perhaps outlawing the ones that are solely for the purpose of slaughtering (not game hunting) might make a difference and stricter requirements to purchase guns and better background checks might make it better. Putting all of these things into effect couldn't do anything but make a difference to the better. Although some might say "a little too little and a little too late", but in some things a little a little late is better than nothing ever. Maybe taking these steps will save some of our grand kids and great grand kids from the horrors that we are seeing today.
