Historia
Black Americans have long been shackled to the Democrats. Seeing no viable alternative, they have watched liberal politicians take the Black vote for granted without pledging anything in return. In Blackout, Owens argues that this automatic allegiance is both illogical and unearned. She contends that the Democrat Party has a long history of racism and exposes the ideals that hinder the Black community’s ability to rise above poverty, live independent and successful lives, and be an active part of the American dream.

Candace Owens is amazing. Regardless of your party preference, you need to listen to this book. Owens is very intelligent and knows her stuff.

Historia
Anyone who has dealt with a chronic disease has known the sleepless nights, the endless pain, the seemingly pointless doctor visits, and the well-meaning, but sometimes hard-to-face, comments from well-wishers who just don't get it. In this book, you will find empathy from someone who faces that same struggle, some words of encouragement, and hopefully a place to let your hair down and just relax for a bit, knowing that you're understood and there is no pressure to "get well soon".

Depressing and sad
Revisado: 08-30-20
I was looking for a hopeful Christian perspective on having fibro. This was a depressing book that only made me feel worse about my situation. Do not recommend.
