Krystin is cool, but Ben is a moron

This story alternates between Krystin and Ben's POV. Krystin is a great multidimensional character. Ben, on the other hand, is a moron and consistently does the dumbest thing possible, which is a bit frustrating.
The narrator makes so unconventional voice choices at times (why is Shawn's voice so high) and occasional I think she uses the wrong voice.

Very slow kids book

I tried, but had to bail on this book after about 4 hrs. It's very slow. I'm not sure the best audience who may enjoy this, but I don't believe it to be adult men.
Also, I think the ratings have been inflated from free copies. Proceed with caution.

Great value, great story, too much recapping

Book 1 is fantastic. Loved it. I did go a little downhill from there for me, not because the story was worse, but there was just too much recapping for my taste. Perhaps if I was listening to multiple books at a time or did some books in-between the books in the box set it would have been less annoying to me. Still a great value. Would recommend.
