As followers of Christ, we long to grow in godliness, but we often find ourselves stuck. Sin runs deep, we continue to fail, and we are easily tempted to give up. It doesn’t have to be that way.

Just what I needed.
Revisado: 01-21-23
I’m a long time baby boomer Christian. Life has gotten harder with becoming an empty nester, newly divorced and just tired of making ends meet financially. Yet, I know the truth of the Triune God. However, I needed encouragement that was not full of the author’s stories and applications. This book was perfect, simplistic, and reaffirming truth from a view of sanctification. So good, I will be listening to it many more times. It was very enjoyable while listening to/from work!

Historia
If a man doesn't take you seriously, he may feel compelled to have a good time with you. Unfortunately this good time will last until you finally realize you're being taken for a ride or until Mr. Time Waster ultimately moves on to a woman he REALLY wants. In cases like this, what a woman really requires are two things: a healthy amount of self-respect and a set of "player-proof" dating rules that will allow her to make wise dating decisions.

True simplicity
Revisado: 12-24-22
This has helped me recover from a divorce and not dating for 35 yrs. I made many mistakes the past 2.5yrs of being single again not understanding men. Wish I had read this book before I started thinking I was really ready.
This book shares great examples and just in your face truth about men! The part about being strong, assertive woman really hit home for me! Now I get it and I’m on the road to self improvement mentally and physically as to my focus on dating. I’m not trying to find a man anymore. I’m staying active and engaging in social groups I like and waiting for the right, compatible guy to come to me.
This was such a straight forward, honest book that I have decided to listen to every two weeks so these truths can be ingrained in my mind, thus actions. Thanks so much for a fantastic resource! -Michelle

Delightful Listen and Intriguing Story!
Revisado: 11-12-21
If the narrator did not have the African Accent, this audiobook would not have been as wonderful! The history, science and third world country real life situations are mesmerizing. Especially having never experienced many of the situations and remembering the world events drizzled throughout this book. Highly recommend for everyone!
