Historia
Every disaster brings an opportunity. Goth Sullus and his empire have fallen. With the Legion and the rest of the galaxy watching from the still-smoldering galactic core, Carter, a former legionnaire turned private contractor, and Jack Bowie, a Navy spy with nowhere left to turn, sign up to work for an enterprising private contractor looking to make a statement on the planet Kublar. Plans are in motion dating back to the Savage Wars, and as the galaxy rushes to fill in the vacuum created by the fall of the Imperial Republic, the bodies are hitting the floor.

Historia
I’m going to walk you through 12 key practices that have transformed my life. Don’t worry. It’s a process. It doesn’t happen overnight. You don’t have to have it all figured out today. You don’t have to do all 12 things by Tuesday. You don’t even have to know all twelve things by Tuesday. Today, all you have to do is decide and believe.

Inspiring, and with great perspective.
Revisado: 03-13-21
I believe this book to be inspirational, and provide unique perspective. Being read by the author, the emotion behind the story is not like any of the other audible books i've listened to. It's personal, its dynamic, and you can feel both the pain, sorrow, joy, and fear in the words as Mr. Kuhnert tells his stories. His passion for his family, his joys, and his faith are very prevalent.
I am not a person whom one would consider very religious. However, I enjoy the exploration and aspects of many religions while personally choosing none. I feel the stories in many can teach great life lessons and bring meaning and value to a person's life, and I greatly enjoy hearing them and others interpretations of them. Mr. Kuehnert's passion in his faith is wonderfully warm, compassionate and he shares it in a way where all can enjoy, whether you share his exact beliefs or not. All can support the ideals he presents in this book. So if you are simply looking for a basic list of "step by step" plans to succeed, this isn't the book for you.
The story of Mr. Kuhnert's life was not fully known to me, even though I enjoy volunteering in the Nubability program. I've met him a couple times, but primarily run into his Dad. This story of his life show that not only his faith allowed him to prevail, but also his upbringing in a small town rural family. I share personally shared a very similar up bringing in a rural farming community, and in many times in this book fondly remembered similar situations which brought a smile, or remembered a bully in the past, times of fear, and times of joy. I think if you've grown up in the country that you too would draw the same connections regardless that the passion of baseball Sam speaks of may differ. His perseverance, and dedication to his sport of baseball is 110%, and while I chased a completely different professional career sport, the "work" is the same.
Therefore this book makes me feel a great connection to the author, like a friend I've had since elementary school. And while we may have different passions, hobbies, or even faiths, I feel welcome to sit and chat of life and of family on the back porch with an ice cold sweet tea.
If you feel lost, or are struggling, or if you are doing great and your ship is running smoothly, I recommend this book to you. What Sam shares in this, and his story, is something all can benefit from.
