Must-Read for FBI Hopefuls

An excellent look into the FBI's training and the career of an agent. It should be required reading for anyone who thinks they have what it takes. It shows both the good and the bad of a career in the FBI. The author does a great job of reading this story and the material is hard to put down.

Very Interesting

An interesting and eye-opening look at how IBM helped the Nazis do their worst. I always wondered how they could track and find that many Jews and this book answers that question.

The narrative is rather bothersome though. I found it hard to concentrate on the story.

A Great Story

King has done it once again with a complicated story of friends who must overcome the worst. This book is heavily reminiscent of "Stand By Me" with its flashbacks to childhood but completely original. I enjoyed the story completely but the swearing was a bit much.

Funny with Great Advice

I found this book useful but it's geared more for those people who just can't say "no" at all. It is very funny in some of the conversations and voices used to make its points. It's an easy read with some good advice.

Excellent Coverage of a Great Sacrifice

Ambrose does a great job of describing the events that we now know as D-Day. Ambrose does a great job of delivering his work and an even better job with his writing. This is a great historical treasure of the successes, failures, and sacrifices of World War II.

If you like George Carlin, you'll like this rather unorthodox book. But be warned: this is just a printed version of his HBO comedy specials. George is the only one who could read this work and make it funny...and he does it very well.

This title is one of Stephen King's best newer titles. I found this book interesting and the author's narrative was an excellent touch. This is a must-read for King fans and those who want an introduction to the man's recent works.

I've used this book in numerous interviews and the material is solid. The advice is priceless and it works very well. Of course, recent changes in interview tactics do undermine some of the topics in here (especially when salary must be reported). Yet the material remains relevant and the narrative is great.

A Hilarious Look at the Early Days of Amazon.com

Mike offers an excellent look at the inside of America's sweetheart Internet company. His narrative is delivered with excellence and his material is completely hilarious.

This book was a very easy read and I found it hard to stop listening.

An excellent follow-up to Angela's Ashes

This book is the continuing story of Frank McCourt's life as told by the author. I found his narrative excellent and his delivery of an already humorous look at his life very entertaining. This book is not as hopeless as Angela's Ashes but it does show us how unfortunate others are.
