Historia
In virtually every way that can be measured, Gen Z’s mental health is worse than that of previous generations. Youth suicide rates are climbing, antidepressant prescriptions for children are common, and the proliferation of mental health diagnoses has not helped the staggering number of kids who are lonely, lost, sad and fearful of growing up. What’s gone wrong with America’s youth? In Bad Therapy, bestselling investigative journalist Abigail Shrier argues that the problem isn’t the kids—it’s the mental health experts.

One of, if not "The Most Important" book to come out in decades.
Revisado: 06-17-24
As a 65 year old grandpa, grandma and I knew all this intuitively. When raising our four children we refused all advice for therapy and drugs. During the eighties and nineties, the early stages of the self-esteem movement, we would, with love, always tell our children; " They are not special to the world. They are. and always will be special to us. But to be special in the world, they would have to earn that". And we have both preached it through the years. Met with ridicule, eye rolls and at times hostility, we would find ourselves questioning our beliefs. But as the years passed by and we were showered with compliments and praise about what ever we did as parents, we must have done it right. Now listening to this well written, well researched book, we not only feel vindicated but at the same time saddened. Saddened because of the extent of damage therapy has, and still is doing to our children. Our hope is that all the resistance out there will weaken and finally give way to what once was considered "common sense" due to this fine book and others like it.

Historia
In Saved from What?, Dr. R.C. Sproul reveals that the greatest danger we face is the holy wrath of God against our sin. But the glory of the gospel is that the One from whom we need to be saved is the very One who saves us. As we better understand the severity of our sin and the sufficiency of Christ’s atonement, the truth of God’s grace will deepen our worship and drive us to make his salvation known.

Eye opening for too many Christians
Revisado: 11-29-22
I loved this book. R.C. clearly shows us that scriptures tells of our desperate need for a Savior and from what our Savior saves us from. Why this message isn't preached from every pulpit is a testament to the desperate need for reformation in today's churches.
