Too much politics

I like the book I liked the story. The narrator was OK. I’ve heard better but he did a good job. The problem with writers today is they are injecting their political views in and out of a story. I don’t want to hear about this. I read to get away from what’s going on in the world and they throw it right back at you with their political Opinions throughout this story the story had an ok ending not a surprise but I think writers should stop interjecting their political views we don’t care.

Too much going on

There are some really great reacher novels in my mind. This was not one of them too much back-and-forth too much confusion didn’t enjoy the story at all. Oh well sometimes that happens.
I think I would’ve enjoyed it more if the narrator was not so articulate maybe that’s not the right word just didn’t enjoy the story with the way he read it.

Although I do love this narrator, this is not one of his best

The title

Unfortunately, I didn’t finish the book. I did however see the movie and I thought it was a disgrace. I returned the book when I realize what the ending was like that may be my ignorance, but you can’t take cheap shots at the church with your political opinions seems to be the order these days with authors.

Too much politics

I loved the story. I think Ballard has gotten beyond control. She has become a bully and unlike a police officer she pays no attention to orders just runs like a bull in a China shop, thereby putting everyone else at risk. I’m not sure as a character what she’s trying to prove but it’s too much
I don’t like her character. I probably will not read any more Ballard books. If they’re written I do love however Harry Bosch, I do hope something comes out with just him and maybe Madeline that would be nice.

Very action packed very graphic in some places which I was a little surprised but one of the best I hope there is another story doesn’t seem so though

Truth is in the title

The story was not hard to figure out who was involved in the killing.
Unfortunately the narrator trying to imitate other voices, especially male voices, make the novel less enjoyable.
The imitation of children's voices, grates on you and almost wants you to stop listening.
Should have used a male voice where it is called for in the story, this narrator has never been one of my favorites.
Story is very typical of Mary Higgins Clark novels

The Narrator was great

Best of Mr Baldacci's Best

This book was one of the best I have read by David Baldacci.

According to the author, it took many years to write this story and I’m sure and I hope he is well pleased

I hope he will get a five star rating on every review, gets the best reviews that he deserves,

This is a very sad story, I wish there were parts of it that did not happen but that is what it took to make this an incredible Story

Mr. Baldacci is one of my favorite authors, if not my favorite and this book proves he is a great writer with a heart and courage to show us the way to change.

I usually take a few minutes a day to listen to my audible books, I could not stop listening to this story

Well Done Mr. Baldacci!!!

 Typical Michael Bennett, novel
