Sort Of Silly
Revisado: 11-23-24
Not a favorite story by Armstrong. Rockton series is such a favorite so I’m usually willing to read her other series. This one, which may be a stand alone, starts out alright. As it moves along it’s just dumb. The main character uses poor judgment at every turn and as the story continues it becomes so predictable. Read Casey Duncan/Rockton instead. That series is worth your time and every one is really good.

Very Childish
Revisado: 07-28-24
Seriously, this book is so hard to get through. The coupling is just childish. Ideas are regurgitated from her other books. I’m probably not going to listen to the rest. I would prefer the original story gets completed instead of tales like this one that bring little to the table. The narrator is not so good on top of it.

Good Story Can’t Wait For the Next Installment
Revisado: 04-13-24
I absolutely enjoyed the three books so far in the audible series. I do wish they were longer. Maybe 7 or 8 hours. A lot of info is disclosed in each book but they are all too short.

I didn’t know what to expect. The story is good and the characters are likeable. I think the story has a lot of potential as the series continues. Narrator is very good.

Revisado: 03-28-24
My only complaint is that book 4 is not recorded yet. I really enjoyed the series so far. I could t put it down. I really didn’t expect much since there are so many vampire stories out there but this one did surprise me with twists and turns.

The Snow Panthers will have to protect the future queen of Norghana. Not a pleasant job and a very dangerous one. There are political interests at stake, and some kingdoms and factions do not see the new alliance between Norghana and Irinel with good eyes. There are those who want the Druid Queen not to reach the throne. As if that weren't enough, another, greater danger looms over Norghana and all of Tremia. A danger of enormous dimensions that threatens to descend from the skies and destroy entire kingdoms.

Enjoyable As Always
Revisado: 02-18-24
This is one more fun and interesting book in the series. Since it’s been awhile since I listened to the last book I was fine with some reminders of storylines. I am hoping the next step in each storyline moves forward in the next installment. Needless to say all the characters are very likely and it’s easy to be emotionally invested. I often find myself laughing and smiling while I listen which is worth continuing on. Love this series.

Strange
Revisado: 09-14-23
Typically I enjoy Armstrong’s books but this one was weird and hard to get through. The main character explaining every little thing and thought was not interesting at all. Juvenile at times like when they all make up ideas on what might be going on. I mean…come on there is gruesome body parts but everyone is running around the island with no fear at all about it. Parts of the story were so predictable. Mainly, it was not good and I was very disappointed. It felt like Kelley tried to hard to but a twist on Necromancy and it wasn’t well executed and didn’t work at all. The narrator was the only good part. Listen to her Rockton series instead. It’s not horror but it’s really great with well developed characters and excellent narrative. A real favorite.

Historia
Boudica, second daughter of a Celtic king, has little concern for tribal tensions and political intrigues. Called by the gods and the stirrings of her own wild heart, she listens instead to whispers of the oaks. But Boudica would be wiser to heed the warning cries of eagles. Rumors abound that the Romans are amassing forces for another invasion. In an effort to consolidate power, Boudica’s father turns to Prasutagus, the formidable ruler of the Greater Iceni. To win Prasutagus’s aid, Boudica’s father must strike a bargain - a deal with implications beyond Boudica’s imagining.
