Loved This Series

I thoroughly enjoyed this series. I wish the first installment about Immogene Grey was also read by this narrator. I listened to Bad Bones while waiting for the last book to come out and it paired perfectly. I would recommend to anyone listening to wait before listening to the last book, go listen to all of Bad Bones then finish with this book. You will thank me.

Backstory/Performance

I thoroughly enjoyed the back story about Katrina until...... Katrina's constant adoration and sounding like the president of the Tonya/Chris fan club didn't quite fit in with the earlier persona created by the author. She kind of went from hardened spy to eager do girl which kinda killed it for me. I dislike the pronunciation of the character names by the narrator. Also it was very difficult to distinguish between male characters and female characters by listening to the narrator.

It made no sense why the PI took her everywhere. I wish the writer would have written something to make that make sense. Also disliking a roommate because you didn't know them and then having them evicted after just wearing a hoodie and being aloof seems a bit sketchy the pitiful fight scene was to save face. Falling for you BF crush and brushing off the boyfriend I just had a hard time falling in love with the main character. I wanted her to fail. This series just wasn't for me. I didn't finish book 2. Sorry hope this helps. I do love most of Danielle Garrett's book though.

So Confusing!!!

Struggled to finish this book. It bounced around so much. You couldn't tell when she switched characters in conversation. You couldn't tell what was a thought and what was a conversation. Probably make a good movie but not a good narrated book.

The narrator is splendid in her performance and giving life to the characters. She captures feelings and emotions in her expressions. I love it

This book was the epitamy of Demon Accords. For those who lacked the understanding of how it tied in to the rest of the story line the only thing I have to say is, you never understood the stories to begin with. Bravo!!!!!

A bit confusing ar first

It's annoying when you can't tell when she is talking in her head or out loud. She repeats certain narrative over and over. I did enjoy the ending.

Not What I Was Expecting

I thought this book was about this young lady escaping this lifestyle or community. I thought this book would be about her heroic efforts and struggles. If this is what you are looking forward to hearing let me tell you, you will be very very disappointed.
