Hate the man's voice

I really enjoyed this audio book, but the voice the narrator gave the leading man was horrible. I found it very annoying, I have listened to quite a few audio books with this narrator, and it's always the same annoying voice, for the male character. It makes him sound like a little weasel. Other then that, I enjoyed the book.

Different, in a great way!

Wow, this was one heck of a good series. Great characters they were dynamic, interesting, grew with the story, they were like real people. I was enamored with this series, I couldn’t stop listening to it, everything I did, I was listening. This was a first for me with this Author, but I will be reading more from her.

What a journey this book brings us on. A fun at times yet a serious book, I enjoyed it very much. Who would have thought finding a book would be so dam hard. I can’t wait to find out exactly what’s in the bloody book lol. I hope it’s worth it in the end.

Surpassed all expectations

Wow, this book absolutely surpassed all expectations, I had. Going into the book, I heard it was was great and it has good reviews, but it’s truly amazing. It brought me into its magical world, filled with different kinds of creatures and very strict rules. That if broken could, and usually meant death. Some creatures so ancient it’s hard to conceive and power everywhere.
There are secrets abound, riddles to uncover, magic to learn how to harness and danger at every turn. Time jumping to do, for answers. This book took me so far out of the real world, I forgot about everything around me.
MI highly recommend it for anyone. I think most people would enjoy it. There aren’t enough star’s to give it. It’s off the charts.

Loved it

I enjoyed this book a lot, the Narrator Priscilla Carson did a wonderful job. The characters were passionate, caring and real. I haven’t read a contemporary romance in quite a while, I’m going to read more. I enjoyed all the relationships between characters, they were all believable and sincere. The story itself was very intriguing. I was very entranced from the start and never lost interest. I couldn’t wait to find out what would happen between a few characters. It certainly gives an addictive story with a happily ever after.

Not bad different, just different. It had a good story, that was easy to follow, with decent characters. I listened to the whole book, not enjoying the end much. Oh well, we can’t love them all.

Wow, very intense!!

This was an intense book about mental, physical abuse and murder. A mother and wife who was a psychopathic, narcissistic, abusive, manipulating, murder. She tortured her children, manipulated everyone and should have been on death row, for what she did. It was sometimes hard to listen, awkward hearing what she would do her children and people who came to live with them. It was an excellent book, that brings to light, how crazy some people are. How lucky I am to have the family I do. I don’t know how anyone can do these things to anyone, never mind their own family. I’m in shock right now, I don’t know what to say.

How these people kept it together and dealt with what was going on, is crazy, but I can see how it can happen, kinda. Everyone had no where else to go, or turn. If they said anything and weren’t believed, their lives would be in danger. It’s a hard situation.

It was definitely well written, I believe it was based on a true story. I’m not sure though, I was going back and forth between two books, I know one was based on a true story. The Author did a wonderful job of describing everything, giving a mental picture of what was happening. The story was smooth. and engrossing. The characters all distinct personalities and they all dealt similarly, yet different. As much as this affected me, my feeling is when an Author can get you feeling real emotions and develop a true connection, or (concern in this case), they have done a GREAT job. My emotions were runithing over!! Great book.

Sexy little read

This wasn’t like xxx or anything, it was sexy though. Caden and Mckena meet in an elevator, the chemistry was perfect between them. The sparks flew. Caden definitely has a bad boy look, while she has a polished pit together look. Caden definitely has his issues, while they both have experienced loss. Their connection is fast, but it seems to be the norm in a lot of books. It was a quick read, that I enjoyed.
