Historia
In 1984, a doomsday vault was constructed on a remote island in the Arctic Ocean. Its purpose was to preserve Earth's genetic history in the event of a global catastrophe. Now, decades later, a second vault has been uncovered, this one resting where no one ever expected. And the problem is it's not ours. Yet even more curious than the vault itself is what lies inside. Seeds. Millions of seeds. Each with a genetic embryo untouched and perfectly preserved. Waiting.

Historia
You'd think that remaining young and beautiful forever would be wonderful, wouldn't you? For Sarah, it really wasn't. She'd been blood-bonded for nearly 100 years to a powerful vampire, where taking small sips of his blood daily kept his blood-bonds healthy and young. While she was like family to him, there comes a time in a human beings life when just existing isn't enough. There needed to be purpose and achievement and something to strive for.

I have loved this series from the start and when I look back on all of the plot twists and turns it is amazing to me how far reaching the author's thought process has been. I am anxiously awaiting the next installment in this very beguiling series

When the immortal Fae destroyed the ancient wall dividing the worlds of Man and Faery, the very fabric of the universe was damaged, and now Earth is vanishing bit by bit. Only the long-lost Song of Making - a haunting, dangerous melody that is the source of life itself - can save the planet.

Unfair Criticism

Any additional comments?
While I dearly love Phil Gigante and Natalie Ross's interpretation of some of the other books in this series, I think the harsh judgement is totally unfair to the new narrators. I was kind of scared to purchase this after all of the negative comments, but after listening to the book, I just don't see the problem. I think they are just fine. And the story is great!!
If you go back and listen to some of the older books without Phil and Natalie, they are different too. It certainly is not as bad as the reviews sound.
I think the narrators are doing a fine job and I love the story. Don't pass up a good story because it is interpreted differently..
