Historia
When COVID-19 sweeps through New York City, Jamie Gray is stuck as a dead-end driver for food-delivery apps. That is, until Jamie makes a delivery to an old acquaintance, Tom, who works at what he calls “an animal rights organization”. Tom’s team needs a last-minute grunt to handle things on their next field visit. Jamie, eager to do anything, immediately signs on. What Tom doesn't tell Jamie is that the animals his team cares for are not here on Earth. Not our Earth, at at least. In an alternate dimension, dinosaur-like creatures named Kaiju roam a warm and human-free world.

Couldn't Stop Listening
Revisado: 12-25-13
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes. It will entertain you.
What other book might you compare The Kitchen House to and why?
No idea
What does Orlagh Cassidy and Bahni Turpin bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Yes great narration.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When one of the main characters chose to put herself in harms way in order save someone else.
Any additional comments?
This book is so good it really moved me to write a review. I was rooting the whole time for the main characters lives to get better. It is true slavery takes on many forms and when I was reading the book I couldn't stop feeling as though they persevered and showed strength of character. Great book and fantastic narration.
