Historia
With Earth in chaos and life on New Kerguelen shaken like never before, a discovery on the mysterious world of Sanctuary blows apart humanity's understanding of just about everything. The consequences are almost unfathomable, the urgency unprecedented, and the revelations of a kind that even Dan McCarthy isn't ready for. One way or another, nothing will ever be the same. And this time, it's final....

This is at least 70% recap
Revisado: 01-09-24
Author clearly has no faith that you can remember the previous novels, or even the previous chapters. He constantly interrupts himself to refresh our memory of even the most mundane details. It’s been so frustrating wanting to get to the plot but having to listen to constant recaps. I think I’m done with this series.

Historia
When Michael Lewis first met him, Sam Bankman-Fried was the world’s youngest billionaire and crypto’s Gatsby. CEOs, celebrities, and leaders of small countries all vied for his time and cash after he catapulted, practically overnight, onto the Forbes billionaire list. Who was this rumpled guy in cargo shorts and limp white socks, whose eyes twitched across Zoom meetings as he played video games on the side?

Great as always
Revisado: 10-29-23
Michael Lewis delivers another winner with Going Infinite. Loved it just as much as his others.

Historia
Many millennia after the fall of Eden, Adam, the first man in creation, still walks the Earth - exhausted by the endless death and destruction, he is a shadow of his former hope and glory. And he is not the only one. The Garden was deconstructed, its pieces scattered across the world and its inhabitants condemned to live out immortal lives, hiding in plain sight from generations of mankind.

This is an interesting take on what happened to Adam after he left the garden of Eden.

Weird voice acting choices
Revisado: 01-18-23
Why is everyone a 1930s looney tunes wise guy? It really took me out of the story.

Historia
In the year 2045, reality is an ugly place. The only time Wade Watts really feels alive is when he’s jacked into the OASIS, a vast virtual world where most of humanity spends their days. When the eccentric creator of the OASIS dies, he leaves behind a series of fiendish puzzles, based on his obsession with the pop culture of decades past. Whoever is first to solve them will inherit his vast fortune—and control of the OASIS itself.

Great if you can forgive a few things...
Revisado: 04-26-16
Wheaton does a fine job of reading it.
It's a fun story, but it can be predictable and cliched and very very filled with exposition. If you can forgive the guy these mistakes on his first novel, and just enjoy it for what it is, you'll like it.
