Historia
The Earth Cruiser Agamemnon is destroyed in combat, and the search for answers begins. The veteran crew of Borag gets the assignment, and the race is on. Sgt. Starn of Red Company must visit the disaster site, perform a search and rescue mission, and return to Mars alive. What kind of technology could destroy an Earth warship so easily? Why is a single life-pod found floating, transponder pinging away—with no one aboard? Most important of all, what is the prowling alien super-ship going to do next?

Great narrator
Revisado: 06-02-24
The narrator weaves a great mental visual. Loved the Sargent of Red Co., upper management of the Borag needs some replacements, but the captain is great!

Historia
In the year 2045, reality is an ugly place. The only time Wade Watts really feels alive is when he’s jacked into the OASIS, a vast virtual world where most of humanity spends their days. When the eccentric creator of the OASIS dies, he leaves behind a series of fiendish puzzles, based on his obsession with the pop culture of decades past. Whoever is first to solve them will inherit his vast fortune—and control of the OASIS itself.

So good...
Revisado: 03-06-17
This is an incredible story, especially for anyone who grew up in the 1980s and is at all a tech geek. I originally read the book to my daughter self editing some of the language. If I was going to change anything I'd tone down the colorful metaphors so as a parent I can listen to the story guilt free with them too.
