I Can’t say enough! YES!!! WOW! The full Monty!

Was it fate, karma, kismet, or perhaps the guidance of those gone before … Sandi may never know, but something, or SOMEONE was sending her “visions” … visions that served as buoys to guide her through the cresting “Waves of Loyalty” that billow as she and her fellow Loyalists attempt to pull off “The Counter Coup”, to set America back on course! This story is absolute stunning perfection! The plot is exceedingly well thought out, cohesive, TWISTY mind blowing perfection! I love how “Waves of Loyalty” weaves everything together, even going back in time ~ without taking away from the current day story ~ to give an in-depth … ahh, no spoilers, but NOW I now have ALL the deets! Not only the “who’s” and the “how’s” … but the deep down “why’s” and the “what makes ‘em tick” that I didn't even know I needed … and it’s fabulous dahling! It’s sooo good that I want to begin the entire series … from the beginning, and listen all over AGAIN! ~ Okay, confession time. I listened out of order. I actually listened to “Ripple in the Waves: Dangerous Consequences” (Book 4) first. It was so well written that everything made perfect sense, but holy WOW, after the bombshells contained in THIS one, I can’t wait to go back and listen again! Of course, I can’t ruin anyone’s fun by giving any of THIS one away, just know, everything is clear, it’s all beautiful and boy did it made me cry ~ several times in several places! It also made me laugh and cheer! This is a character driven story and ALL of the characters are completely human, real feeling, brilliantly defined and develop organically WITH the story! Gawd I love me some Jesse, Josh, AND a bunch of other beautifully defined, beautifully voiced Loyalists! And fear not, there are also plenty of ne’er-do-wells to despise and fist pump when they get theirs! I mentioned beautifully voiced, and believe me, they are! Every character is voiced exactly as I would picture them! As I listened, I laughed with them, I cried with them, I grieved and rejoiced with them, totally immersed in their world as the authors vision came vibrantly alive! “Waves of Loyalty” is truly perfect ~ The full Monty! I loved every single twisty emotional second! Five Fantastic Stars!

Grabbed me from go in all the right places!

Sheila Rand … Dire Wolf Shifter and sassy as they come! She likes nothing better than giving Detective Crowley a hard time … about anything and everything! Leo Crowley … Blue Valley Police’s only Shifter Detective. He has a thing for Sheila, and he has it bad … BUT, Mr. Law and Order’s also hiding a thing or three! Then there’s the nefarious goings on by unknown ne’er-do-wells … it’s all “Breaking Sass”! This beautifully intriguing story grabbed me from go! There was action, a nice bit of intrigue and oh lordy was there heat! The story itself was detailed, beautifully executed and clearly explained with any necessary background information cleverly interwoven INTO the story! My favorite part of “Breaking Sass” though was the characters! I love these brilliantly designed, and richly detailed new friends! I particularly LOVE Aunt Patricia and Auriella ~ their interactions with Leo, Sheila, and the other members of the Dire Wolf Pack are PRICELESS! I can’t give details without spoilers, but I can tell you that my laughter at their shenanigans had my eyes watering and my husband startled awake as I listened late into the night! I also think I’m in love with every single Dire Wolf! They are all so different ~ and the cantankerous ones, wow the best, they really make me … smile! Full disclosure, I didn’t love every character, what fun would that be, BUT, the ones that rubbed me the wrong way were undoubtedly by design … and deserving of what they got, lips zipped ~ no spoilers! The performance of this stunner is astounding! Every scene, every character ~ male or female ~ ALL vibrantly, emotionally and beautifully brought to life! I just closed my eyes and let the authors world envelop me as I was transported to where Leo, Sheila, and Aunt Patricia’s antics had me waking a cranky hubby with my laughter … and I loved every single second. Five stunning stars across all categories!

Hell Hath No Fury … Go get ‘em Sandi!

Sandi … official weather watcher, housewife, mother … till “the event” … till THEY took what mattered most to her. Now, Sandy wants justice, retribution, and most of all, VENGEANCE! As for the three men who dared take her world? Well, when they said “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned”, they … weren’t … wrong! Those “Waving False Flags” did not expect the resistance they encountered, and I did not expect to feel the depth of feeling I did while listening to this stunning story! Sandi’s transformation is one hundred percent believable! Fueled by rage and pain, she magnificently goes from being powerless, to being a true force to be reckoned with! I love how Sandi grows into her new role “organically”, never losing “herself”, the very essence of “Sandi”, making her metamorphosis an absolute JOY to behold! I was completely immersed in this story and when I came up for air, I think I was perhaps her biggest fan! I am giving no details, other than, brace yourself, the ride is WILD, the emotion prevalent and EVERY character does their part to make this story spectacular ~ be it hero or villain ~ all are present, accounted for, and brilliantly drawn and developed! As I am prone to do on occasion, I listened twice through ~ not because I needed clarity, but because this story it’s just that GOOD ~ and THIS amazing ride was even better the second time through! I’m not ashamed to admit … I might go back for more! Five absolutely stunning, stupendous stars! I LOVE me some Sandi!

A Dark, Twisty, Beautifully Narrated Thrill of a Ride!

Stacy thought she FINALLY had it all! A fulfilling career, meaningful friendships, AND she was engaged to the love of her life! When women start turning up dead … women bearing a striking resemblance to Stacy … Detective Ensor has a theory. What if he’s right? Ohh the twists I didn’t see coming! Were they rooted in sour grapes … jealousy … power … control … I’ll not tell! All I’ll say is “The Doctor’s Secret” had me consumed, hanging on the edge of my seat, hanging on every fabulously narrated word, NEEDING to KNOW! The plot is dark, the tension palpable, and the characters DEEP ~ well defined, and you’ll definitely form strong opinions on some of them, whether for yea or nay ~ I’ll not say! I will admit, as the story developed, I found my opinions changing on a few! I also found several aspects of the story AND some interpersonal relationships to be extremely … thought provoking! I can’t say which or who without giving away huge spoilers, but when you get there, you’ll know! The characters, action and story were brought brilliantly, believably and beautifully alive through fabulous voice acting! Every feel and emotional nuance was perfect and I felt it ALL! ~ “The Doctor’s Secret” was indeed a dark, twisty ride and I loved every perfectly written, beautifully narrated curve! Five Fantastic Stars!

The writing is spot on, tear worthy, heart breaking and heart healing perfection! The characters are brilliantly believable. I am in love with Max! Having been owned by beautiful pups, (one that was abused in his past life), I have always taken them to training to give them the best start and THIS portrayal is perfectly accurate in every way! I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this one! The tension was palpable, the heat searing and the plot clear and engrossing! Stunning narration, perfectly timed and beautifully emotive kept me completely immersed in this gripping story! “Strictly Forbidden” is without a doubt a FIVE star listen and I loved it! This one is a STUNNER!

The new normal … frightening and engrossing!

In the blink of an eye … cities gone, the landscape completely changed. Things you thought you could count on … no more. Who can you trust? Who do you blame? Where do you go from here? If you’re Sandi, you use your wits and every weapon you have at hand to survive, to insure your family survives, “After the Waves” … no one knows … Will America Stand or Fall? I know I was riveted to my headphones … stunned silent by the tight, cohesive writing, the impeccable continuity, and the brilliantly smooth flow of this engrossing, powerful, and well thought out story! I will confess it scared the warm, brown smelly stuff right outta me! The beautifully designed characters are “normal” people who have been put in a horrifically dire situation. They act like “REAL” people, NOT Hollywood dramatizations! Their beautifully believable dialogue adds an EERILY realistic feel, especially given the perfect narration style employed! Every word is delivered in a clear, low key style that really had this listener BELIEVING, and feeling, the utter desperation and desolation of the situation! Before I knew it, the story was over … but not finished. It’s a trilogy and I want part two … no, I NEED part two ~ I have to know what’s next for Sandi … for her family … for America! As for the first installment ~ holy WOW ~ FIVE fantastic stars!

Sometimes the BEST Families are made not born!

Faith, Nathalie, Mateo, Daniel, Molly, Carmen, and Enid … oh my heart Enid! Not family by blood or birth, but surely a family of the heart, and “Keeping Carmen Ruiz” is their story. A story written with heart, soul, honesty and compassion ~ sometimes heated, sometimes painful, sometimes hysterical, and sometimes worthy of soul searing rage! I won’t spoil this fabulous listen for anyone by giving details, but I promise, you will feel for, AND with, these beautifully human, beautifully REAL characters as you listen, AND and at story’s end you will not be sorry you took this journey with them! Breathtakingly brought to life by stunning, emotionally on point, perfectly timed narration “Keeping Carmen Ruiz” easily earns five fabulous stars across all categories! This one is stunning and I loved it ~ I loved it ALL!

Powerful! This story NEEDS to be HEARD!

Livy … Being used by one for a way out, left her ripe to be used for prey by another. All Livy wanted was to love and be loved. Was that really so much to ask? Jay … he seemed so nice, so caring, so perfect, but time tends to show one’s true colors, and with time … damage occurs … defenses erode and there but for the grace of whatever higher power … go any of us. I was sitting, happily listening to what started as a jaunty little tale of a young girl venturing out on her own. She’d had a setback, but she was soldering on, holding her own. Then came a day where she wasn’t her jolly ole’ self … and her boyfriend Jay didn’t take well to Livy not performing as HE would have liked! I’ll not give any details away, that would be playing spoiler. I will tell you that I was STUNNED by what happened next! It took me a few seconds before I could hit stop! I was gobsmacked! I caught my breath, backed up the recording, hit play, and checked to make sure I heard right. I had. I’ll also tell you that “Broken Pieces of Livy” is a gut wrenchingly honest, at times bitingly raw story that pulls no punches. Spellbinding is the only word that comes to mind when describing this story. As I was drawn deeper and deeper into this story, feeling Livy’s tension build toward the crescendo … I found MY breath tightening, I could feel Livy’s fear, her desperation! I was awestruck! This story may be billed as fiction, but my take is that it’s someone’s reality! At the very least, “Broken Pieces of Livy” is most certainly a cautionary tale, a story that NEEDS to be heard and NEEDS to shouted from the rooftops … for all of us, for if just one life is saved, just ONE, then it’s a win for everyone. Five fantastic and necessary stars!

Oh the intrigue! The characters! Magic! I love, love, LOVED this!

Zoey had a new identity courtesy of the Witness Protection Program. Now Kiera Glass, she packs up her food truck, loads up her pup Cody, and heads for her new home. Enroute, she gets a call from Federal Marshal Ray Stark asking for a favor … and favor requiring her “unique” expertise … a favor that just might land her in the pokey … or worse! When “Murder and the Old Barn”, priceless art, and ne’er-do-wells aplenty are involved, there is never a dull moment, and I loved every single second of this beautifully flowing, masterfully written and fantastically narrated cosy delight! The plot really kept me entertained and engaged! I love the mystery of subplots weaving deftly through the story, sowing seeds and hinting at future resolutions ~ Kiera and the “cobbler” and the breadcrumbs of possibly a future romance … this, THIS is how a series is built and I am so intrigued! The characters are amazingly lifelike, beautifully balanced and believable. Their dialogue so perfectly realistic that I hung on every authenticity narrated, smooth flowing, beautifully emotive word! I was really a bit worried about how everything was going to resolve for the characters I’d come to care about in this one … I can’t give details without giving it all away, but as you listen, as you come to care for these characters as I did, I’m sure you’ll see the reasons for my concern! What I can say is that our author and narrator are miracle workers and I can’t wait to see where the next incarnation of Kiera goes from here! As for “Murder and the Old Barn”, five fantastic stars across all categories ~ I love, love, LOVED this one!

Perfect Finale! I Loved them ALL!

Hunter Fox … he might be the youngest of the Fox brothers, but he’s far from the tamest … he’s surly on a good day, and let’s be honest … Hunter doesn’t have many good days. Esme’ Dreyfus, Hunter’s new executive chef … she’s a bit eccentric … she’s also smart, creative and determined! Having survived a harrowing past, she not about to take guano from ANYONE … including Hunter! These two will need to work together when the nefarious come to call … assuming they don’t kill each other first! The writing! The characters! The dialogue! All the feels! All the chills! The mystery, suspense AND the scorching searing HEAT! It’s ALL here, it’s all perfect and I loved every single beautifully narrated second! The way this story pulled the entire series together and resolved the storylines of some of the peripheral, yet absolutely essential characters, was brilliantly PERFECT! I can give no other details or character identities, but know this story, this entire series is not to be missed! What an emotional ride. I absolutely, five fantastic star LOVED it! The narration is picture painting, emotionally powerful, heart rendering perfect! At no point does it sound “read”, it’s being “lived” and I LOVE that! It’s truly an amazing performance of a perfect story … five stars perfect across all categories!
