The first story is hard to follow so it may need a second listen. The Poor Relation's Story is an interesting take on being thankful. overall this is a decent little collection.

This book kept getting worse the longer it went on. I don't think that Larry was talking about this book when he was describing a book about the Fantom group in the forward. The writers seem to have no idea how to write about this genre or something... I don't know. I have never read a book that was translated into broken English. It is only by sheer determination that I can say I finished. The only plausible explanation for this collection of stories is that the Czech version of this book in print is better.

I can't seem to find the right words or emotions that this work of literary art instills in me. I feel as if parts of the dialog are at once tearing me apart and consoling me at the same time. I need to go for a walk and talk this through with my younger self. I need to set a date to read this again. I need to love and lose all over again till the words work themselves out to the surface. I find hope in this, on the B-side, the do over. Maybe it's just me being silly but I love it.
